With elections currently at or near the top Kenyan minds, I think it's a good time to re-up this important investigative report from 2011 which exposed a shadowy political party operating inside Parliament that secretly commands the allegiance of most MPs.

LSK calls for a boycott of courts. It has announced a nationwide boycott of court proceedings on 22 July and an indefinite boycott of courts presided over by Judges or JOs who have obtained orders stopping JSC or EACC investigations into complaints against them.
BACKGROUND TO THE CHEMELIL ACADEMY CHAOS:
1. A dispute arose over the legitimate authority of Chemelil Sugar Company Limited (2025) over the management of Chemelil Academy (the school)
2. Parents raised concerns over poor maintenance of school facilities, human resource management, and the degrading welfare of students.
3. Parents gave mediation a chance, but the Company failed to implement agreed resolutions. The matter escalated, leading to clarification from the PS for Agriculture and Livestock Development, that the factory lease did not extend to the school.
4. Owing to the management vacuum, the Parents Association incorporated The Chemelil Educational Registered Trustees to run the school on an interim basis.
5. The Parents Association Chair convened a parents' meeting to discuss the way forward but was served with an injunction a day before the meeting. The application was founded on misleading claims, including a false assertion that Dr. Fredrick Otieno was not the legitimate Chair. Despite reservations, the court orders were respected.
6. Upon sufficient proof of chairmanship status by the Chair, the orders were lifted. Parents subsequently met and overwhelmingly resolved (100% vote) that the school be managed by The Chemelil Educational Registered Trustees.
7. During half-term, beginning 11th June 2026, the Company issued a notice that learners whose fees had been paid to the Trust would not be allowed back to school on 18 June 2026.
8. I promptly received Instructions to seek conservatory orders barring the company from implementing such exclusion to the learners as well as restraining the company from managing and/or interfering with the management of the school currently under the trust. The High Court in Kisumu granted both orders on Tuesday 16th and were served to all parties by COB 17th June.
9. Today, upon reopening, armed goons forcefully invaded the school, wielding pangas and injuring several teachers whose only blame was reporting to receive learners returning from half-term. Teachers and parents fled for safety into nearby sugarcane plantations.
10. Police eventually arrived and restored order. One of the goons was shot and injured, while others escaped through the thick sugarcane fields towards the Achego direction.
11. Preliminary reports indicate malicious damage to school property. Bottles containing petrol were also recovered, evidencing an attempt to torch the school.
Very unfortunate times in the prevailing goon culture. The rule of law must prevail, court orders must be respected, and the safety of children, teachers and parents must remain paramount.
We will see to this till the very end that justice is done.
Siwolo P.O, Advocate.
A flawed process can only produce a flawed outcome. No fair hearing, no fair outcome. The only remedy in such a case is for the court to void the process and its outcome, and order the decision-maker (Senate in this case) to make a fresh decision.
Honestly, I don't understand why the High Court gave Gachagua an undertaking which he relied on to his subsequent detriment yet the Court failed to fulfilled even though it found that the impeachment was short of Article 50.

In 1998, Orengo against all odds tabled a motion of no confidence in Moi. Nobody believed that an MP could do such a thing. Moi won but the vote demonstrated how fragmented the country was. It inspired a shift to total unity against Moi(NARC) and 2002 had KANU loose.
This man @joshuamalidzo must put his signature the next time we promulgate a new constitution. Without state machinery unlike Murkomen, he keeps protecting the 55m Kenyans.
Linda mwananchi should rename to Josh Malidzo
Reverse black tax in your family. Gift your child a paid off flat. Buy them a mini van when they start a family. Give them the downpayment for their mortgage
One day someone will write the history of Kenya and say, here lies a nation saved by its patriotic young people and built on the foundation of liberty, justice and prosperity for all.
We can change the narrative, all it takes is one generation
#KenyattaUniversityVC Dispute:
Justice Njoki Mwangi of Kiambu HC while recusing herself from the Kenyatta University VC Dispute:
“Mr Steve Ogolla yesterday, May 19, 2026, came to Kiambu High Court, wherein he communicated to my aide that he wanted to see me, a request that I declined,” ✅️
And upon asking our senior Steve Ogolla to explain;
'The said advocate having explained in court today that he wanted to see me to inform me that he would be making an oral application today for the discharge of ex parte orders, I hereby disqualify myself from this matter'✅️
