None of the other tables appeared to be having that kind of experience. I suspect it's a "you get out what you put in" type affair but even so I don't think I'd (pay to) go again.

@bdimcheff Its a fun, sweet little spot. It's not terribly far from cocktail places like Scofflaw (free cookie at midnight) or (in the other direction) Billy Sunday. {disclaimer: haven't been to any of these places in 6 years or so)

@juliewbee @bdimcheff @DharmaAkmon Alinea is nice but its a structured experience that doesnt lend itself to things like luxuriating over a dessert and a digestif and cocktail. If you want gastronomic diner theater then go for it but otherwise....meh.
