Staff at the Institute for Cancer Research have gone on strike over poor pay and working conditions. They're demanding a 16% pay rise to make up for their real-terms pay cut since 2019, proper access to pension schemes and that staff at their Sutton site be provided proper access to food and eating space.

KONP were proud to join today's strike rally in Kensington, and urge people to send messages of support!

How it's going 👉 Strike action will begin on Wednesday, with further dates throughout June.

After years of below-inflation pay rises, many staff are earning little more than the London Living Wage. With management refusing to move on pay, workers will be on the picket lines.
