@CoDurhamElects@CoDLabour@DurhamTories@CoDurhamGreens@DurhamLibDems Why do you think that your council misinforms councillors of their duty (top venn) & propagates the lie in the bottom venn to cover its tracks?
Why do cllrs ignore these things & put their name to fraud, & betray their residents?

@BrexitNe@northumbriapol@UKLabour@LabourNorth@PrivateEyeNews This reminds me of when I sent a doc proving that Sunderland council ignores the 1999 Local government act, to the police - & my input was totally ignored - not even acknowledged.
@1GeoffJones But of course that's how sham accountability disguises itself. A contact of mine become a councillor a few month ago, & confirms that the legal duty of a council has not been mentioned to them - & instead that phrases are taken out of context to pull the wool over their eyes.
@drcmday Part of the role of Judges & their fellow travellers is to legitimise not seeing the wood for the trees. To prove this, ask a lawyer or councillor what the legal duty of a local authority is. Gaslighting rules OK.
@Maxastra@johnnymup Spam & gaslighting are propagating irrelevant information. By calling out gaslighting, you are doing the opposite of producing spam.
@Maxastra@0Calamity It's also that there is a system of gaslighting which all ignores the same thing. E.g. the definition of accountability and governance for local government & its regulators is the sentence which describes the mission of local government, but where is an explanation of it?
@Maxastra In the discourse propagated by the media, high interest rates are a legitimate way of fighting inflation. From a Marxist perspective, they are what capitalism does for a living
Whether this land deal was corrupt is a matter of subjective judgement. That it contravened the Local Gov Act is objectively verifiable, given a relevant framework which explains how to apply the Act to the case. Without such a framework the LG Act is meaningless.
