“Psilocybin, the psychedelic component of magic mushrooms, has previously been touted as an effective treatment for depression, anxiety, addiction, and PTSD — but now researchers say it has the potential to be used in Alzheimer’s intervention as well.
In this case study, published in Frontiers in Neuroscience, researchers focused on an 80-year-old Japanese American woman with Alzheimer’s. She had declined over the previous decade and was reduced to urinary incontinence, speaking in single syllables, and dependence on caregivers for mobility support and daily living.
She was then given a 5g dose of magic mushrooms.
During the initial phase, she was agitated, sweated profusely and entered a prolonged sleep state that suggested unconsciousness. But around hour 19, she began speaking in full autobiographical sentences, recalling life events she had been unable to articulate for years.
In the days and weeks that followed, more incredible changes emerged. She regained urinary continence, even in the evenings, and began dressing herself. She was able to make and maintain eye contact, remember social interactions, emotionally respond to others, and hold lucid conversations.”
Physical AI is shaping up to be the next major investing cycle.
Jensen Huang, the CEO of $NVDA and the most influential voice in tech right now, agrees.
The last few years were about digital AI. Training models, chatbots, data centers.
Now the capital is rotating into embodied AI. Robots and systems that see, move, manipulate, and work alongside humans in the physical world.
This could be one of the highest-conviction multi-year themes of the next 5 to 10 years.
Here’s why the pieces are lining up now.
Foundation models are finally good enough to handle real-world messiness. Object recognition, planning, adaptation. Edge compute and better sensors mean robots no longer need constant cloud hand-holding.
Hardware costs are crashing. Batteries, actuators, motors, lidar, vision sensors, and dexterous hands are all on cost-down curves. What cost millions five years ago is becoming viable at scale.
Demand is real. Aging populations, reshoring, e-commerce, elder care, dangerous jobs. Governments and large corporations are incentivized to automate FAST.
The trillions already poured into AI infrastructure now fund the physical deployment layer. Pilots are proving ROI. The next phase is units shipping from thousands into millions.
Better robots generate more data. More data trains better robots. Adoption accelerates. The companies that nail hardware, software, and deployment at scale are the ones that win.
Here are 4 names on my radar:
SYM Symbotic.
The warehouse automation powerhouse. They build full AI-powered robotic systems that handle pallets, cases, and items end-to-end. Walmart-scale deployments with a long-term backlog already locked in.
This is not a gadget. It is a turnkey platform deployable today.
$28B market cap. Sticky long-term contracts and real recurring support revenue. If logistics automation goes mainstream, this is the name that benefits first.
CGNX Cognex.
The undisputed eyes of the robot revolution. Leader in machine vision systems, sensors, and software that let robots and factories see, inspect, guide, and identify with high accuracy.
Factories, warehouses, automotive, electronics. All of them need vision to make physical AI actually work reliably.
~$11B market cap. Strong margins expanding with AI upgrades. Forward multiples reasonable for 20%+ growth. A blue-chip in the space still flying under retail radar.
NDSN Nordson.
The quiet precision dispense king for robotic manufacturing. They make the specialized equipment robots use to apply adhesives, coatings, sealants, and fluids across electronics, automotive, packaging, and medical.
As robots get more dexterous and lines get smarter, demand for their tools surges.
~$16B market cap. Niche dominance. High margins. Diversified end-markets. The boring industrial that benefits from the automation wave without the froth.
OUST Ouster.
The perception layer of physical AI. High-resolution digital lidar plus enhanced AI vision that gives robots and machines 3D mapping and sight in tough environments.
Industrial robotics, smart infrastructure, autonomous systems. Growing fast. Smaller cap, more room to run.
Still early on profitability. Cash position is solid. Deal flow is accelerating. Higher-risk sleeve of the thesis. Every embodied AI needs great sensors, and Ouster is positioned without being the overhyped name.
The risks are real though.
But directionally, this feels like being early on EVs or cloud in the 2010s.

The funniest maths in modern environmentalism.
One almond requires 12 litres of irrigated water to produce. Peer-reviewed, ScienceDirect, 2017. A glass of almond milk contains roughly 50 of them. 600 litres of water before the carton is filled.
The water comes from the San Joaquin Valley in California, which sits over one of the most over-extracted aquifers on earth. The valley floor has subsided by up to nine metres in places due to groundwater depletion. The carton is then refrigerated, sailed across the Atlantic, refrigerated again, lorried to a Manchester Tesco, and bought by someone who is concerned about the environmental impact of dairy.
Meanwhile, in Cheshire.
A British dairy cow drinks roughly 70 to 100 litres of water a day and produces around 28 litres of milk. That's about 3.5 litres of water per litre of milk. The water is rainwater that fell on her field or came from a local stream fed by the same rainwater. The rain was going to fall on the field whether the cow stood in it or not. 80% of her moisture intake comes from the grass itself, which is also rain.
She converts the grass, free of charge, into a litre of milk containing seven times the protein and four times the calcium of almond milk, and shipped roughly 18 miles to the same Tesco.
To recap.
600 litres of stolen aquifer, flown halfway round the world for nutritionally worthless beige water.
Or 3.5 litres of rain that was already falling, converted by an animal you can pet, into actual food.
The shopper picks the almond.
She has been told this is the ethical position.
The aquifer would like a word.

The Yale professor who accurately predicted the entire Iran war just said World War III is about to start with 90% certainty.
He explained exactly how it starts, who triggers it, and why NOBODY can stop it.
Professor Jiang made 3 predictions in 2024 that all came true:
1. Trump would win the election
2. He would start a war with Iran
3. The US would lose that war
Now he has made 8 NEW predictions and every single one is terrifying...
The war in Iran was never about Iran.
It was about saving the US dollar.
America's empire runs on the petrodollar where every country must use dollars to buy oil. But when America froze $200 billion in Russian assets after Ukraine, it told the world the dollar is a political weapon. So Russia, China, and Iran started building a trade bloc to ditch the dollar entirely.
These 3 countries cover the entire Asian continent and can build railways connecting their economies while cutting America out.
Trump's plan was to bomb Iran's leadership and watch them surrender like Venezuela did in January. But Iran is a mountain fortress with 92 million people and 31 independent armies across 31 provinces each designed so no single strike can wipe them out.
6 weeks in, decapitation failed.
Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz, attacked US bases across the Gulf, and started charging ships $2 million per crossing to fund their war.
And here's where it becomes a world war...
Russia's grand strategy is the Third Rome doctrine.
If Iran falls, Russia's southern border is exposed and both Russia's trade corridor and China's Belt and Road run directly through Iranian territory. Losing Iran means permanently losing access to the Middle East and Africa.
So Russia enters the war.
When Russia enters, China follows. They reinforce Tehran from east and north, provide financing, and Russia puts Iran under its nuclear umbrella taking tactical nukes completely off the table.
Professor Jiang put the probability at 80 to 90%.
And while the world watches the Middle East, North Korea is making its move:
The US pulled THAAD missile defense out of South Korea for Iran operations. Seoul sits 20 minutes of artillery from the North Korean border with 25 million people exposed.
North Korea doesn't even NEED to attack. They just threaten.
South Koreans are rich with everything to lose. North Koreans have nothing to lose.
Simple extortion.
Nobody is coming to help because America is stuck in the Middle East.
But the prediction that will BREAK the internet is this one:
Trump gets a THIRD term.
Professor Jiang laid out two constitutional loopholes.
First is Trump runs as VP under Don Jr. or Vance, they win, the president steps down, Trump takes over through succession.
The 22nd Amendment bans being elected president more than twice but says nothing about becoming president through succession.
The second option is even simpler:
By 2028 America is at war on multiple fronts with a draft in effect so Trump invokes emergency war powers and delays the election just like Zelensky did in Ukraine.
And the draft is already real.
Automatic registration starts in December. Males 18 to 24 are entered into the system automatically.
The Department of War literally PUBLISHED the playbook online:
- Secure the Western Hemisphere as US territory which explains Greenland, Canada, Venezuela, Cuba, Panama
- Force NATO to fight Russia
- Strangle China through maritime choke points
- Convert civilian factories into weapons production (the Pentagon already told Ford and GM to prepare to STOP making cars and start making munitions)
His final advice was genuinely one of the realest things I've heard all year:
We will need leaders. Not politicians or billionaires. Average people who knock on their neighbor's door during a blackout and say let us figure this out together.
Because when empires collapse, and he believes America's collapses within 10 years, the people who survive built community before they needed it.
It's starting and there isn't much you can do about it
$BTC and the crypto markets are going higher. Most were fighting it, and we are about to see a very much hated rally for those that gave up on it
Many people mocked my $90,000 calls when we were sitting at $70,000
Oh well
My son is 5 yrs old. I'll make sure that he listen to his podcast before he turns 10. No amount of schooling can teach what this guy has taught in 21 minutes.
