All 4 of our PGY 3’s have done complete Bentalls - including the newest ones, with 4 different surgeons. And Type-A’s, ascendings + AVRs, with good patient outcomes.
My best case in cardiac as a PGY3 (the highlight of my year) was getting to do one proximal.
