11 months ago, a mother said goodbye to her daughter Tanishka Sharma as she left for school-never knowing it would be their last goodbye. 💔

After losing her husband, Tanishka was her mother’s entire world. On that day, she sent her healthy, happy daughter to school, trusting that she would return safely.

Around 11:30 AM, the family says they received a call from the school informing them that Tanishka had “fainted.” When her mother reached the hospital, she was informed that her daughter could not be saved.

Since then, the family says they have been searching for answers.

They have raised concerns about:
• inconsistencies in the accounts of where and how the incident happened,
• questions surrounding the investigation process, and
• findings and information that they believe require a complete and transparent examination.

The family maintains that Tanishka was healthy and active, and they are seeking clarity, accountability, and justice through due process.

It has been 11 months of grief, unanswered questions, and a mother’s fight to know the truth about what happened to her child.

No parent should have to send their child to school and face a lifetime without them. 🕊️

గుంటూరు నగరంలో ఒక మహిళను వివస్త్రను చేసి, టీడీపీ నాయకుడు దాడికి పాల్పడిన ఘటన మానవత్వానికే మచ్చ మాత్రమే కాదు.. రాష్ట్రంలో శాంతిభద్రతల నిర్వహణ ఎంత ఘోరంగా విఫలమైందో చెప్పడానికి నిలువెత్తు నిదర్శనం. ఈ దారుణానికి చంద్రబా���ు ప్రభుత్వం సిగ్గుతో తలదించుకోవాలి.

బుధవారం ఘటన జరిగితే.. మూడు రోజులపాటు దాన్ని కప్పిపెట్టినా, చివరకు ఆ వీడియోలు సోషల్‌మీడియాల�� బయటకు వచ్చి, రాష్ట్ర ప్రజలంతా చూసి ఈ పరిపాలనను అసహ్యించుకున్న తర్వాత, ఇప్పుడు తానేదో గొప్పగా చర్యలు తీసుకుంటున్నట్లు చంద్రబాబుగారు హడావుడి చేయడం మరింత సిగ్గుచేటు.

ఆ వీడియోలు కప్పిపుచ్చేదానిపై శ్రద్ధచూపే బదులు, బుధవారమే తనపై తొలిసారే దాడి జరిగిన తర్వాత, బాధిత మహిళ వెంటనే పోలీసులకు ఫిర్యాదు చేసినప్పుడు వారు స్పందించి ఉండి ఉంటేగనక, ఆ తర్వాత ఇంతటి ఘోరం జరిగి ఉండేది కాదుకదా? ఆమ�� ఫిర్యాదుపై వెంటనే కేసు నమోదు చేసి, నిందితులను అదుపులోకి తీసుకుని ఉంటే ఈ దారుణం జరిగేదా? ఫిర్యాదు చేసిన మహిళకు రక్షణ కల్పించకుండా మౌనం వహించడం ఎంతవరకు న్యాయం? ఇక పోలీస్‌స్టేషన్లు ఉన్నది ఎందుకు? బాధితుల ఫిర్యాదులను స్వీకరించడానికా? లేక అధికార పార్టీ నాయకులు ఏంచెప్తే అది ��ేయడానికా? బాధితురాలికి అండగా నిలవకపోగా, పంచాయితీ చేయడానికి ప్రయత్నిస్తారా? వీడియోలు బయటకు వస్తేనే చట్టం మేల్కొంటుందా? బాధితురాలి మాటకు, ఆమె ఫిర్యాదుకు విలువ లేదా? నేరం జరుగుతున్నప్పుడు స్పందించకుండా, ప్రజల్లో ఆగ్రహం పెల్లుబికిన తర్వాత చర్యల పేరుతో నాటకాలు ఆడడం ఏ రకమైన పోలీసింగ్‌?

రెడ్‌బుక్‌ రాజ్యాంగం పేరుతో ప్రతిపక్ష నాయకులు, కార్యకర్తలు, సోషల్‌మీడియా యాక్టివిస్టులపై ఈ చంద్రబాబుగారి ప్రభుత్వం దగ్గరుండి దాడులను ప్రోత్సహించింది. ఆ అరాచకాలను కప్పిపుచ్చడానికి పోలీసు వ్యవస్థను రాజకీయ ఆయుధంగా మార్చింది. చట్టాన్ని అధికార పార్టీకి చుట్టంగా, ప్రతిపక్షాలపైనా, బాధితులపైనా వేధింపులకు, అక్రమ కేసులకు ఒక సాధనంగా మార్చి రాష్ట్రాన్ని జంగిల్‌రాజ్‌గా దిగజార్చింది.

అధికార పార్టీ నాయకులు ఏం చేసినా ఈ పోలీసులు తమను రక్షిస్తారనే ధైర్యం ఈ రెడ్‌బుక్‌పాలనలో గ్రామాలు, వార్డులు, డివిజన్ల స్థాయి వరకూ పాకింది. అందుకే టీడీపీ కూటమికి చెందిన పలువురు నాయకులు దుశ్శాసనుల్లా తయారయ్యారు. ఎలాంటి దారుణాలుచేసినా, ముఖ్యంగా మహిళలపై దాడి చేసినా, వారిని అవమానించినా, వేధించినా తమకు ఏమీ కాదని, తమను కాపాడ్డానికి చంద్రబాబుగారు ఉన్నారనే ధైర్యం, వారిలో పెరిగిపోయింది. ఇది చివరకు రాష్ట్రంలో ఆడవాళ్లకు రక్షణ లేకుండా చేసింది. అధికార పార్టీ నాయకుల దురాగతాల నుంచి తమను తాము కాపాడుకోవాల్స���న దుస్థితిలోకి మహిళలను నెట్టేసింది. చంద్రబాబుగారూ… ఇదేనా మీరు చెప్పే మహిళా భద్రత? ఇదేనా మీ సుపరిపాలన? ఇదేనా మీ పోలీసింగ్‌? @ncbn గారూ, మహిళల ఆగ్రహమే మీ ప్రభుత్వానికి తగిన బుద్ధిచెప్తుంది.

Another reminder of how fragile stability is in the private sector. One secures employment, income begins to flow, long-term plans take shape, home, car, loans, EMIs. And then, a single decision by the corporate to “rationalize” or “downsize,” and everything collapses overnight.

Unless you quickly re-enter the job market, fixed liabilities don’t pause; they compound stress and can upend an otherwise steady life.

While you earn, you must pay taxes. The moment you lose your job, you’re on your own. In fact, you even have to pay tax on the severance also.

Maybe it’s time to introduce reforms, such as mandating severance pay ranging from three months to one year based on an employee’s tenure, as is the norm in the West; allowing EMI pauses for a 3-6 months; and providing a time-bound monthly allowance from the govt for involuntary job losses.

If Ladla/Ladlis can get free money, free ration, free water, and electricity, without paying any income tax, why not support a worker who has been paying taxes and contributing?
