@mullvadnet at some point in the last month, you appear to have updated your PayPal payment flow and now PayPal is requiring that I provide a physical shipping address when making payments to you. I assume that this change is accidental / a bug and due to be fixed...?
It's been a while... anyone up for a meetup next Monday? Just like before the pandemic 6.30pm start, unlike before the pandemic we're using a new venue - @donerhausuk on West Nile Street.

@backblaze FYI all email addresses in the Backblaze control panel are currently showing as Cloudflare's "[email protected]" anti-bot mechanism with the email address hidden. There's JS on the page that's supposed to reveal them, but it's not loading because of the CSP.
We have a new permanent job vacancy for an experienced full stack python developer to work on cultural heritage / digital humanities projects. https://t.co/wza8pqGmLC
@abra_tv @mynkor @signalapp It's no different than if I wrote your phone number on a bathroom wall. It's meaningless, unidentifiable information. Having your number in the Signal DB does not identify the user in any way, shape or form. You're conflating two separate issues.
@abra_tv @mynkor @signalapp A phone number is not personal information, not by itself. If you obtain network provider data, then yes it can identify an individual. But Signal doesn't do that, it's just a phone number in a database somewhere with some data metadata attached to it.
@mynkor @signalapp But that has nothing to do with Signal. An adversary could theoretically obtain that data from Apple or Google whether you use Signal tied to your phone number or not, using Signal doesn't affect that whatsoever. The two points have absolutely nothing to do with each other.
@mynkor @signalapp You should also know that Telegram isn't encrypted by default, and even when it is they use their own proprietary encryption that lacks scrutiny from outside parties. Rules 1 of encryption: don't roll your own. This alone is enough to make me avoid using it.
@mynkor @signalapp If your phone number is a target for law enforcement, then it existing on Signal makes absolutely no difference. If it isn't a target for law enforcement, then why would it existing in Signal make it one?
@FeelitWorking@j_opdenakker I use and would heartily recommend @Fastmail - TOTP and U2F support, with service specific app passwords letting you use IMAP, SMTP, etc without using your accounts master password.
We are hiring an additional front end dev, got some good stuff coming up! https://t.co/hynpdtyXHk Anyone interested please send over a CV. No agents please.

@jannemans @Fastmail Fastmail has built in support for syncing your Google Calendars: https://t.co/R9LH9namlk - just give them write access to the Google Calendar and that to sync it into Fastmail. It's exactly what I do.
