@nickbaumann_@jxnlco@JamesZmSun Got it.
Piggy backing the way annotate works might be interesting.
When investigating I checked the network logs to see if the annotate tool posted data somewhere on submission.
@jxnlco qq. Any plans to let an app in the codex in app browser call back to the main codex app thread?
Current ux means the user always has to manually prompt after interaction in the browser.
@nickbaumann_@jxnlco@JamesZmSun Do you use the annotate tool to comment?
Kinda interested in pushing annotate past code changes into ui instruction too.
what if a kanban was shared by agents and humans?
in codex, you can dump tasks, have them parsed into workstreams, spin up subthreads, and keep the UI + agents in sync with a CLI and skill.
feels like the future of interfaces: shared surfaces both sides can act on.
I hate reading (some stuff), so I'm loving this flow at the moment:
- use @every compound engineering plugin to create a plan
-pass that to @paper and ask it to just visually show me the plan through mockup screens and flow charts
Wow very easy to create a Codex Site with a Convex DB that your agent can write to.
You can make a todo list app that is hosted on Codex Sites, then tell Codex to make a skill that allows the agent to WRITE/EDIT to that todo list db.
And then in any chat you can add to your list. Here's example.
Potential Leak: OpenAI might release a site creator tomorrow! Pretty exciting canโt wait to see it in action
This will not be the only thing theyโll showcase ofc

Saw this ad right after getting off the plane at Heathrow Airport.
I recognised him instantly but itโs crazy to see the Stripe guy in an ad at an airport.
