@LoganHowe@Perpetualmaniac They gained me as a customer three weeks ago when gemini pro (that I have for "free") went to absolute shit, but now they've pretty much lost me agian. good job
guys, i honestly do not like clowning on Gary.
I don't find being the butt of a joke funny, so I imagine he does not either.
But, this is what worries me about where we are going. We are actively encouraging an entire generation that the tech is there when its not, and a couple of silly mistakes made on a website isn't the end of the world, but people's data and breaches are serious. We are entering a very VERY hackable world, and I do not like it one bit.
Good to see that @GoogleAI 's Gemini retroactively managed to fix its persistent downtime for the last 1.5 weeks, and now it's just a single day of some minor intermittent issues /s
The last 1.5 weeks used to be yellow, but I guess all my actual issues were imagined?
@fjzeit Yeah, I did the same on a private project and to the very end, when I checked out an old version, it pretended it was following its own structure while having effectively randomized all files.
Lots of people yelling "war crime" at everything on this app all day long... but here we can see the first real war crime of this war:
Iranian cluster ammo falling indiscriminately on a purely civilian target.
@vladuhat999@saltyAom Watch someone 60+ use word and you'll rip your hair out. Copy & Paste is using the mouse to go to the edit menu. No ctrl+c, ctrl+v, not even right click to copy...
Oh, and the youngest generation is equally clueless as soon as it's outside of tiktok and instagram,
@naruto11eth@Pranit Well, I run two 3090 at home with a 27B and a 32B model in parallel, which serve most of my zeroclaw requests right now. Not having used local models since Llama2, they have come A LONG way. Plus, privacy. And fallback to API is still possible and done.
me: "can you use whatever resources you like, and python, to generate a short 'youtube poop' video and render it using ffmpeg ? can you put more of a personal spin on it? it should express what it's like to be a LLM"
claude opus 4.6:
@GergelyOrosz How much are you spending that it's "good enough"? Sonnet 4.6 still makes the most glaring mistakes and I have to point out where the errors are, lest it go on an hour long quest. Opus is too expensive to use for anything private.
Gemini is even worse
@Object_Zero_ And that's why the US has bases on Greenland and would most definitely be allowed to station interceptors of any kind there. You know, ally stuff...
