"This is one of the more interesting energy coalitions we’ve seen launch in a while, and the reason is simple: it aligns the economic interests of very different companies around a problem that’s genuinely fixable."

Many thanks to @MuthaMagazine for publishing this essay on pregnancy, one that felt risky. I wrote it when was seven months pregnant, deep in what I began to secretly call my “prepartum depression.” https://t.co/sMvkyDn9Vo
“I tried my best to write in a way that the humanity in the book is there regardless of your interest in Venezuelan politics or Venezuela as a nation....But for Venezuelans reading this, they know everything that happened....” —@Puyana, @AustinChronicle

Planning to attend AWP LA... if anyone is looking for additional panelists. My subjects, I think: non-academic teaching and working w/ writers of all walks within the community, historical fiction (read: research), book reviewing, and literary citizenship. Thanks for considering.

It was an honor and a pleasure to interview George Saunders about his early years in the Texas Panhandle—and how it shaped and influenced his fiction for @TexasHighways.
One of his favorite Texas authors! One guess? (@elizmccracken, among others!) 🙃
