@skylarromines@Stealx Legalese with “It’s not an honest mistake. It’s outright fraud” or something similar 5xs and a bunch of conflated legal concepts. Us lawyers have pretty okay job security thanks to this but courts will need to now start cracking down on pro se people who abuse the system with AI
@Molson_Hart Agree. I would take it even further: You can tell everything you ever neeeded to know about a person from a single game of pickup basketball.
@emzanotti@Chris24Hoover It’s a baseball bat, not a TBall bat. The TBall ones are -13 and are $99. The baseball ones ranges from -10 to -13 and are $350. TBall ones do look like knockoffs and don’t have the same technology. Someone likely put it back in the wrong spot.
@BillBrewsterTBB He can’t do this to banks without amending the National Bank Act which will never happen. And nothing will be retroactive. All BNPLs basically need partner with banks and such banks are the “true lender” even if the BNPL sponsor contractually carries the repayment risk.
@compound248 Claims against foreign countries, even ones we control, are never easy. Lots of creditor on creditor litigation violence already and the amounts are worth fighting over. A bankruptcy like claims process might be a good idea to get to a negotiated resolution w/ creditors.
@SpikeEskin Matching each song on the album to a Sixers season or event, would be incredibly niche, but relatively fun (and easy) to do. Just a thought.
