@arcalinea hi jay, as I understood the protocol, nodes only provide replication for single-user data repos. I can't see hierarchy or cross-posting as I would expect in federations. to me, looks closer to SSB (p2p) than to activitypub (fed). not too much info yet though

@andrestaltz I don't see any fundamental differences to SSB here. Federation would imply support to write across PDSs, which is not the case. The server-server gossiping seems to be just a replicating mechanism, not really a federation. Servers seem to no have authority over the data/id.
