Harkening back to a piece we wrote, #EileenGu is perhaps the most shameful spectacle at the Olympics, flaunting her roots as an American when it suits her to criticize the President, yet selectively choosing silence on China's devious past and current abuses. In claiming she is American but choosing to represent #China at the @Olympics, her allegiance is clear. She is the epitome of the worst sort of celebrity, an American opportunistically enriching herself in a free, capitalistic system while bashing the country she lives, and goes to school, in. Her charade, where she continues to be a mouthpiece for the #CCP and outwardly hostile to America, to profit off her duplicitous anti-Americanism for Chinese fame, must end. She is a traitor to America. The President should gladly permit her to rescind her citizenship and move to China. @nypost@FoxNewsDigital

Add another supporter to scrutinizing both Chinese-based pitch competitions as well as incongruous actions by certain women chasing tech founders @elonmusk

Appreciate @jamestareddy@WSJ covering the important complication of #Chinese tech co's departing US listings for #HongKong/elsewhere with LT implications, including strengthening new capital conduits with fewer safeguards. This breakup may, inadvertently, aid Chinese companies as more sources result in more plentiful capital, which begets greater progress and innovation

"One of the many things that have died in the past 20 months is the idea of the West as a coherent force that can act in its own interests. A few quiet generations in the free world have produced leaders who donโt seem to grasp what extraordinarily brutal and ugly things had to be done to make them free, or what must be done to stay that way. This realization is dispiriting, but it does give us some clarity. Netanyahu understands this, and on this pointโunlike so many othersโthe vast majority of Israelโs citizens agree. This is why, at least for now, Israelis are hunkering down with a rare unity as missiles streak down at us from the sky. This war is unavoidable, and no one will wage it but us."

Without mincing any words, @sequoia's Michael Moritz @FinancialTimes op-ed attempts one of the most blatant hypocritical retrospective whitewashings and rewriting of history, trying to deflect his role in America's loss of technological supremacy. Regardless of the differences alluded to between @elonmusk and @realDonaldTrump and any lessons taken from such, it is particularly insulting to have such a critique from Mr. Moritz as there is no firm more blameworthy than Sequoia Capital for #China's innovation rise, and no one more responsible for the decisions made at Sequoia than him. As the evidence from @_futureunion_ and @committeeonccp has shown, Mr. Mortiz colluded with the #CCP and profited more than anyone by raking in money from the rigged Chinese system while undermining U.S. and allied technological leadership. And when faced with indisputable and direct evidence of their treachery, Sequoia was forced to split the firm into @hsgcap and @peakxvpartners in a face-saving attempt to distance themselves from their role.
When the U.S. and China inevitably face off, in parallel with his @FinancialTimes 2018 op-ed "Silicon Valley Would be Wise to Follow China's Lead," this self-righteous, revisionist op-ed deserves to be in the annals of a museum dedicated to the people with the greatest responsibility for undermining America as Artifact 1. The firm, under his leadership, is responsible for the single greatest sell-out of technology to America's adversary in history, all of which is playing a significant part in the AI arms race and the future of America's geopolitical leadership.

Deserved credit to all @WestPoint_USMA cadets but wonderful how @POTUS called attention to the stellar athletes - along with the #Centurions - nothing easy about being at West Point or the academies and we applaud the work and service #Onwards
Representing the best of #America. Congratulations @WestPoint_USMA cadets and deserved credit by @POTUS. It was our honor to speak to the cadets earlier this semester. Onwards!

@zebulgar important push, & mad appreciation for highlighting. More than the fees & League Table credit (enormous deal=important in IB), this is a new playbook for #Chinese companies to get liquidity & preserve optionality/power as an alt. for listing on US exchanges. Note: 30+ Chinese companies have lined up behind this deal to list in #HongKong. That is one reason that the Chairman of @HSBC personally advocated for a role in the deal (failed), per reports, as this has potential as a long-term gravy train for @BofA_News, @jpmorgan, @GoldmanSachs, @MorganStanley, @UBS + @Kirkland_Ellis@LinklatersLLP, among others vying for it unless such practices are eliminated

@zebulgar This is a blatant sell-out of America, as the two letters to @BankofAmerica Brian Moynihan and @jpmorgan Jamie Dimon received from the @committeeonccp following our op-ed https://t.co/KzqOOvCMMn
@DavidSacks It is not just AI, it is also in a vast number of technologies but AI is obviously the easiest to focus on. Biotech for one, we are not winning.
@pitdesi you just be in the โsunnyโ part of the city (brrr the coming โsummerโ :). One reason is as nice as SF is, warm is one what Iโd equate with say a proper summer of a more normal city. Not an indictment on the rationale as Iโd want a roofdeck too but if it was 80 and sunny for more than 2-3 weeks many more would be clamoring for it, too
