Sincerely hope that these districts have the resources to cope. While Chennai gets so much resources and attention, the effects of extreme weather conditions are being witnessed everywhere across the state but hardly gets the attention it deserves. We need strong mitigation plans

Now in plains itself some places have crossed 400 mm rainfall in less than 24 hrs.
In Tuty Srivaikuntam 479 mm, Tiruchendur is crossing 450 mm

US State Department banned Palestinian foreign minister Riyad Al Maliki from publicly speaking as a prerequisite for obtaining a US visa.

Journalists minutes ago asked questions to Maliki during a presser in Washington but he couldn’t comment.

The Saudi minister who was present in the room said: "There is a speech ban in the visa issued by the USA"
