Look at the color as well, how is that not a bullet? There is an article in the NYT on this photo, look it up.

@Opie2404 @OfficialChipC Chip adressed this exact thing in a live show with @bballbreakdown and called it context clues, which in this case would be how the ball pops lose. Then I don't have to see the exact spot where the hand hits the arm, but can make a high probability call. Not possible here though

@_DavidHines @bballbreakdown The only feasible solution for this would be to have a fourth referee and always have one positioned at each baseline. I am not against it. In this case I am wondering if the slot referee could have seen the play better. From the baseline angle, it was a pretty egregious foul.

And it's the 3s, it's these post ups. He was too slow and methodical, also could've spun baseline on the catch immediately

If I separate two ppl without fighting the one who's the opponent I get both arms in between them and push them apart and take MY guy and pull/push him away. At least admit that this could look not incidental to others

@CoachCCL @bballbreakdown That's not his area of responsibility, he is looking at body contact, block charge plays, restricted area and so on. Also for players swiping at the ball and potential fouls. This is another refs' responsibility and we don't know what they were doing. Should have been called ofc
