“What have I, or those I represent, to do with your national independence? This Fourth of July is yours, not mine…There is not a nation on the earth guilty of practices more shocking and bloody than are the people of these United States at this very hour.”
- Frederick Douglass
People not from California will never understand how much people from California love California. It's a California thing. And in spite of how expensive California is, and how terrible California traffic is, and the price of gas in California, it’s still OUR California.🌴🌊☀️
Andrew Gillum’s response: “The congressman was against the piece of legislation because he is wholly owned by the NRA. He’s not gonna stand up to the National Rifle Association. That's why they’re running all these ads against me because they want the man that they bought.”
I don’t understand why anytime it’s an African-American victim we always bring up something criminal about them.(which has nothing to do with the case) meanwhile when it’s a Caucasian male mass shooting, the narrative is “he’s mentally ill and needs help/rough childhood.” #media
