Edwin Sifuna: Tunataka kukata milioni 500 kutoka kwa bajeti ya serikali turudishie wakenya hio pesa, tutoe ushuru ya mafuta, stima na housing levy kwa sababu Wakenya wanaumia
🚨 BREAKING NEWS: State House announces major breakthrough in tackling Kenya’s cost-of-living crisis.
Bayern Munich will play Ajax in a new stadium.
Citizens are advised to eat the circus. Bread will be provided at a later date.
As I said before, William Ruto’s habit of paying crowds to attend his rallies and now using public resources to create a spectacle around the Ajax vs Bayern game is all about manufacturing an image of popularity for a global audience. It is an attempt to convince the world that he enjoys local support while millions of Kenyans are struggling with the realities of his leadership.
This has nothing to do with what Kenyans truly want or what this country urgently needs. And he will keep spending on these political spectacles, regardless of the cost, because protecting his image matters more to him than addressing the suffering of the people. Textbook narcissism.
Look at our stranded football team. If it is not being stuck at an airport, they are complaining about not being paid. Look at the state of sports infrastructure, the struggles of local clubs, and the countless talented young Kenyans who lack facilities, equipment, sponsorship, and opportunities to develop their abilities. We have footballers who need support, yet we are being treated to expensive spectacles involving foreign clubs.
If this were genuinely about promoting football and nurturing talent, the money being paid to these clubs would be invested in local football, grassroots academies, stadiums, coaches and sports infrastructure. We would be building a sustainable sporting industry, not buying temporary excitement for political optics.
And remember, we are talking about a stadium whose construction costs have continued to raise serious questions. How do you justify spending enormous sums to create a spectacle around football while our own players are stranded and the very people who should benefit from investment in sport are being neglected?
This is not sports development. It is politics dressed up as entertainment. It is the business of manufacturing popularity while the country’s real problems remain unresolved.
A government that genuinely cares about sport does not need to import the appearance of success. It invests in its own people, supports its own athletes and builds a system in which Kenyan talent can thrive.
Kenyans do not need a president who is popular on television and impressive in foreign headlines. We need a president who delivers results at home. You cannot keep neglecting the people and then spend public money trying to convince the world that those same people love you.
We are paying foreign clubs 600M KES to come play here for 90 mins
Kenya has 19 external-beam radiotherapy machines .Each costs between 400-600M KES
11 of those are in private hospitals .Out of reach for you and me
We could buy one with what we are paying foreign clubs
If you are planning to build a house in your rural village,
Do the following:
• Open a bank account. Call it "Project Development Account 2026."
• Write a plan. Use the Triple Constraint Theory in Project Management: BUDGET, TIME and SCOPE.
• Save 50% equivalent of your rent in the account, monthly for 15 months, eg, if your rent is 10,000, then, save 5,000 in that account every month.
• If you can't raise 50% equivalent of your rent to save, then you are living beyond your means. Look for a cheaper house.
• Get an architect and a draughtsman to design a house.
• Do research, consult, read about building and construction online. Travel beyond your comfort.
• Get a Quantity Surveyor to do feasibility and the cost of the project.
• At month 15, draw a budget and begin buying material for construction, eg Sand, Ballast, Stones and timber. Stick to the budget.
• At month 18, start building.
• Get a professional mason licensed by the National Construction Authority. Be present. Supervision by phone calls is disastrous.
• Be hands-on. Learn to do the masonry work alongside the mason. Mix the ballast. Lay the bricks. Be part of the team.
• Create a rapport and good relationship with a hardware. Let this hardware be the only place you will buy construction material.
• Don't live in government houses. Don't buy the so called "affordable houses."
Build your house, to your preference and taste.
Therefore, if you are intending to build, and you start planning today, then you should be building your house in 2026 March.
It is not far.
Start today.
Be patient.
Start.

The rabbit hole gets deeper and convoluted.
Kalonzo gatekeeps the Kamba vote, cheating them that "this time I will be the president."
His empty rhetoric is propelled by a fake media that thrives on propaganda and emotional headlines.
While doing this, he blinds them as they vote for his cronies, who loot Kambaland's natural resources and taxes.
Kambaland governors are on a looting spree as Wa'Kamba sit in a stupor, waiting for a Kalonzo moment that remains elusive.
Well, do you know the formation of the current ruling party [UDA] was partly funded by Mr Muthama, who owns a mining license that allows him to mine rare gemstones like Ruby Red and Green Garnets?
Yet Kalonzo and Muthama are political friends.
"Mblaza, go to Ruto, and I remain with Raila. Whoever wins is a win-win for us all." — Political cousins.
Kamba-land, which boasts massive natural resources such as wildlife and minerals, has remained impoverished.
Kambaland has the most significant economic corridor between Nairobi and Mombasa/Lamu/Garissa, which can turn Kambaland into an economic powerhouse in the transport industry.
Wakamba are exemplary tyre technicians. Why can't we harness this cultural skill and turn it into a million-dollar industry?
They have vast land watered by Kenya's giant rivers — Tana and Athi, Galana, and Sabaki.
They have 400 million tonnes of the world's most sought-after non-renewable fossil fuel — COAL!
But now, the Kamba's only economic resource is sand harvesting, yet minerals and precious gemstones are stolen by these same politicians.
Musyoka will come again this time to tell Kambas that he will topple Ruto, and Kambas will be hypnotised by that deceitful euphoria. — "Wantam, Wan-bullet, WaMusyoka."
After every election, these conniving politicians meet with political wheeler-dealers to collect paychecks as Kambas remain impoverished.
These career "opposition politicians" don't have a transformative agenda. They are part of the mess.
They simply camouflage and posture as "saviours" because they have not been invited to the looting table.
However, their role is to keep the masses occupied with infertile opposition politics, so that the people cannot revolt against political brinkmanship and conmanship.
They keep the masses occupied with political clownery and fiction while ignoring the fundamental problems that are disturbing our people.
Then, when the infertile opposition goes to Kamba-land, instead of having a conversation that will liberate Kambas from economic slavery, all they tell them is,
"Hi, Cousins!"
- and the hypnotised Kambas respond,
"Aiiii"
Wake up!
When H.E Edwin Sifuna declares war on you, just know you are finished.
Simba Arati has now become Bosco Mihadarati.
Wetang’ula and Mudavadi are now funnier than Aki and Paw Paw.
When H.E is quiet, even Kasongo can't sleep. And when he speaks, Game Over.
Imagine being Sifuna, and all you want is just take a dump, you probably ate something that didn't agree with you, but outside is an entire legion protecting you and chanting your name. Poop too loudly and they break down the door because they think Kasongo got you. 😭😭
One big mistake Ruto did was to dare and threaten Sifuna during that burial in luo nyanza infront of Raila, he made himself a political nemesis who can go bar to bar with him verbally. Sifuna is not Kalonzo, Ruto is going home.
"Watapata accident". Does this then answer the question of what happened to Jirongo and Baba? Were those also one of those "accidents".
Considering what happened to Clive, this is a very serious issue that can't be taken lightly.
1 imported case of Ebola and you are now telling Kenyans not to shake hands or hug. Bwana, we have a serious problem in this country.
You fear Sifuna rallies and it is not a secret.
You can be competent enough to focus on the science than being political.
That is why you are losing public trust.
The annoying dishonesty that is Kenya’s politics - many of those who were shouting Ruto down and heckling here are now firmly on his side; and it’s not because they have changed their ideology
My interpretation: Corrupt Lawyers are costing taxpayers billions of shillings on flimsy legal defense of government in court. JurisPesa is a small rat compared to the mongrel that is WakiliPesa. Kick corruption out of the Bar!
