I smoked at least a pack a day for about 20 years and couldn’t stop. Then I read The Easy Way to Stop Smoking by Allen Carr, and I’d given up before I even finished the book…with zero difficulty or withdrawal. In fact, I didn’t even want a cigarette.

Then, about a decade later, during a very stressful period, I started again and ended up smoking ridiculous amounts for many months. Eventually, I decided to reread the book. Once again, I quit halfway through it and haven’t had a cigarette in well over a decade.

If you're ever lost/stranded change your voicemail immediately to say where you are, who you were with, what time you arrived etc. When people notice you're missing and start calling you, the voicemail may just save your life especially if your phone goes dead or you have no service.
