Coal mines in Kentucky produced a total of about 5.8 million tons of coal in Q3 of 2024.
🔵Western Kentucky: 3.3m tons
🟡Eastern Kentucky: 2.5m tons
These numbers are reported separately because Kentucky's coalfields are part of different geological formations.
