@TheAtlantic@Tyler_A_Harper I started reading this because it seemed mildly amusing, but then got asked to pay $80 because it’s “essential journalism”. About miller lite.
@WholeFoods your online ordering substitution process is losing you a ton of money. I ordered 365 Plain Greek Yogurt. Out of stock. Only substitution offered is sugary vanilla yogurt, totally different thing. Ignoring Chobani, Fage etc. I click “no”, and drive to a competitor.
@josh_t95@bethgabriel_ not really how “prices of things” works though. “This used to be shit and cheap, and now it’s amazing and nice, why isn’t it still cheap?”
@Daves1412@labourlewis Yes. My constructive contribution is that it’s an insult to the reader for someone to outsource, at best, their writing and, at worst, their thinking to an AI model and then not disclose either fact.
@Simmons__ The most amazing thing is how this slopfest has drawn so much praise from so many. We are in a two-tiered society of people who can recognise AI writing and those who can’t.
@DylanByers@loudmouthjulia How did you have Chris Lehane for like an hour and not ask him “how is a news outlet editorially independent if the editors are loaded up on OpenAI stock?”. Would they run a story that tanked the company? I found the attached highly ironic.
