I lived in Lagos for a good 7years, but I didn’t achieve anything. In fact, things kept getting worse to the extent that I started smoking, drinking beer, and gambling. My mum would always call me and say, “Oko mi Owolabi, please never stop striving. It shall be well one day.”
One day, I decided by myself that I needed to leave Lagos State and try living in my state of origin. I left Lagos in 2019, and things started changing positively for me. I stopped smoking, drinking, and gambling, and at the same time, I accepted Islam. Life wasn’t easy for me yet, so I later moved to Ogun State to do some small hustle after I got married.

In conclusion: Leaving Lagos in the first place really changed my life. I stopped smoking, drinking, and gambling, and I accepted Islam.
