A young Kashmiri Pandit nurse, healing the sick, serving her people, walking the halls of a hospital that should have been a place of safety.

But hatred entered through the doors before dawn on 14 April 1990.

Sarla Bhat was kidnapped from her hostel — not by strangers from far away, but by men who walked the same streets, who knew her name, who saw her humanity and chose to destroy it.

For days she was tortured, violated, and brutalized in ways no human being should ever endure. Her helpless cries never reached her family. Her suffering was swallowed by the darkness that had already engulfed Kashmir.
When her lifeless body was finally found on 19 April, it carried not just wounds —
it carried the story of a community abandoned, hunted, and unheard.

Her mother waited for news that never came.
Her family prayed for a miracle that never arrived.

In the end, they received only silence… and a body.

ये घटना त्रिवेन्द्रम स्थित Kalyan Jewellers की है! एक पिता नें 29/11/2013 को अपनी बेटी की शादी के लिए एक नेकलेस खरीदा जिसका कुल वजन 49.580 ग्राम था तथा डिजाइनर स्टोन का वजन घटाने के बाद लगभग 43.500 ग्राम !

कुछ दिनों पहले 17/03/2018 को वो इस नेकलेस को बैंक के पास गिरवी रखने के लिए गये तो उन्हें झटका लगा जब बैंक के मुल्यांकनकर्��ा (bank appraiser) नें जाँच के बाद बताया कि नेकलेस में सिर्फ 12 ग्राम के लगभग सोना है क्योंकि मोतियों के अंदर बाकी वैक्स भरा गया है !

जब वो इस बात को लेकर वापिस कल्याण ज्वेलर्स के पास गये तो वहां के ब्रांच मेनेजर नें बोला कि ये सही है कि ये वैक्स भरा जाता है और ये बात सभी को पता होती है !

जरा सोचिये...

अगर पता हो तो कौन मुर्ख मोम को सोने के भाव खरीदेगा.....???

पिता द्वारा विरोध जताने पर मेनेजर बोला कि चलिए हम ये न��कलेस वापिस ले लेंगे तथा आपको आज के सोने के भाव पर पर आपको पैसे वापिस कर देंगे जितना सोना है !

लेकिन परिवार नहीं माना और बोला कि उन्हें वो वास्तविक रकम चाहिये जो उनसे खरीदते समय ली गई थी और उन्होंने नजदीकी पुलिस स्टेशन में इसकी शिकायत दर्ज कर दी !

21/03/2018 को कल्याण ज्वेलर्स के स्टाफ का एक सदस्य समझौता करने के लिए पुलिस स्टेशन आया और बोला कि हम ग्राहक की मांग अनुसार इन्हें इस नेकलेस की वही कीमत लौटा देंगे जो इनसे ली गई थी!

90 % लोग सोना खरीदने के बाद बेचते नही है वो सोच रहे है हमारे पास इतना सोना पड़ा है पर हकीकत में वो गलत फहमी के शिकार है सोने का पैसा देकर वैक्स खरीद कर रखा हुआ है , गहने जितने भी है सब मे 50% खोट है!

एक बार अपने आभू���णों व सोने की जांच अवष्य दूसरे जगह करवाएं!

Arnav Khaire, 19, was a first-year science student at Kelkar College, Mulund.

According to his father, he was travelling to college in a local train when a minor argument with a few passengers escalated into language chauvinism. They assaulted him for speaking in Hindi, an unexpected and deeply jarring experience for a teenager who had never faced such aggression.

The suddenness of the attack, the humiliation, and the fear of being targeted for something as basic as language created an intense psychological shock. Overwhelmed, Arnav got off at Thane, took another, and went home. Even hours later, he remained visibly distressed. He told his father he was scared, uneasy, and experiencing intense anxiety, classic signs of acute stress after a traumatic event.

Despite his father’s reassurance, the emotional aftermath was too heavy. Arnav couldn’t process the sudden psychological blow and died by suicide.

Now Arnav will never speak Hindi again. I hope that makes those chauvinists feel satisfied.
