A $55.32 P.F. Chang’s bill somehow turned into police, a declined Apple Pay… and handcuffs.
That’s one expensive way to avoid paying for dinner.
Tampa International Airport Police were called after Deja refused to pay her bill, claiming employees threatened to tamper with her food and that corporate was supposed to remove items from the check.
Police checked surveillance.
No food tampering.
Then came the payment Olympics.
Dead phone.
Mom couldn’t pay.
Phone finally charged.
Apple Pay declined for insufficient funds.
Then came fraud issues, money transfers and more delays.
After multiple chances to settle the bill, police arrested her.
Under Florida law, obtaining food under $1,000 with intent to defraud can be charged as a second-degree misdemeanor.
All of that over $55.32.
Girl… the fortune cookie would’ve told you to just pay the bill.
For everyone wondering how it all started.
About an hour before this she was screaming at kids telling them to get off her lawn & calling them little bi*ches. We told our children to stay by us and not go towards her house at all.
She came over screaming & yelling at us because "she wasn't talking to our kids". We had no way of knowing that.
She called the cops to have us trespassed. She got aggressive with them & they told her if they come back she was going to jail. She literally told them they would be back. An hour later and this happens.....We were all just chillin'. Not responding to her flipping us off, screaming dumb shit over - just chillin!
She came over acting crazy. The girl on top of her was already on the phone calling the police as soon as she seen her walking over because there was 15+ damn kids there! Some ours, some neighborhood kids.
Dis fugin nigga bisch iz crazy... Tamika just got out of prison, she's been locked up since '96.
She comes home and chokes out her brother (live streaming on TikTok) who just choked out the other sister laying there on the couch.
Usually, behavior like this goes against societal norms. But then I think, it's normal for blacks. I've seen a ton of afro-centric family squabbles, but this one's a first.
