BREAKING: Both the Supreme Court and the Balochistan High Court issued notices to the state today in separate proceedings concerning Dr. Mahrang Baloch. The SC issued notices on three bail petitions filed by detained BYC leaders, while the BHC issued notices in the appeals challenging the life sentences imposed on Dr. Mahrang Baloch and Sibghatullah Baloch.

The Baloch genocide is unfolding through a systematic pattern of enforced disappearances, fake encounters, extrajudicial killings, torture, and collective punishment. Across Balochistan, civilians, students, political activists, journalists, and human rights defenders continue to be targeted. Families spend months and years searching for their loved ones, while countless victims are denied truth, justice, and accountability. Fake encounters have become a central instrument of this campaign. Victims are forcibly disappeared, held outside any legal framework, and later killed in staged encounters.

The ongoing campaign against the Baloch people reflects a systematic policy aimed at crushing the Baloch national identity through enforced disappearances, fake encounters, extrajudicial killings, torture, and collective punishment. The scale, consistency, and persistence of these violations show a coordinated pattern rather than isolated incidents.

دشمن کو کامیابی صرف اُس وقت ملتی ہے جب ہم اس کی باتوں اور پروپیگنڈے کو اپنے ذہنوں میں جگہ دیتے ہیں۔ اگر ہم اس کی باتوں پر دھیان نہ دیں اور اپنی صفوں میں اتحاد برقرار رکھیں، تو آخرکار وہ خود مایوس ہو جائے گا۔

At the All Parties Conference on Balochistan, BNP chief @sakhtarmengal asked: “What crime did Dr. Mahrang commit? When she came to Islamabad with women, elderly people and children, the state responded with water cannons and baton charges. And what was her demand? Just one thing: register an FIR. If they had simply registered that FIR on the first day, would things have reached this point?

From Turbat to Gwadar to Islamabad, she made the same demand: let those who are deaf hear, and those who are blind see, what these families are asking for and why they have come.

Are we really supposed to trust a judicial system where Dr. Mahrang is not even allowed to appoint her own lawyer, where the state imposes a government lawyer on her instead? And after she is sentenced, that very government lawyer is rewarded the very next day with an appointment as Advocate General.”

We welcome the statement by UN experts condemning the life sentence against Dr. Mahrang Baloch and Sibghatullah Shah Ji and calling the judgment a grave injustice and a travesty of justice. International attention in the face of shrinking civic space, eroding democracy, and the criminalization of peaceful human rights work is very important in Pakistan. The world must not ignore the massive human rights abuses, extrajudicial killings, unlawful detention, and the misuse of terror laws against Baloch political and human rights activists.

This is extremely disturbing that the security forces, which cannot fight militants and maintain security, resort to killing and dumping innocent and disappeared persons, then branding them as terrorists.

Last night, following a deadly bombing in Jiwani, five people were extra judicially killed and dumped. Among them was Abdul Haq, an educator and school principal who was forcibly disappeared in January 2026. For months, fake promises and assurances were made to his family by government not to go public because he would be released.

Abdul Haq was the uncle of Ali Haider, who in 2013 marched on foot from Karachi to Islamabad for his missing father, Mohammad Ramazan, who was disappeared on the Makran Coastal Highway in July 2010. In 16 years, the state did not bring back Ali Haider’s father, but instead killed and dumped his uncle Abdul Haq, who had the responsibility of raising and taking care of Mohammad Ramazan’s children.

The shelter over Ali Haider’s head has been snatched away once again today. Ali Haider grew up with the grief of his father’s disappearance. Now, as a young man, he has to spend the rest of his youth grieving for his uncle. When he becomes an older man, he will probably have to grieve for another family member.

Killing and dumping peaceful people and branding them as terrorists will not contain a rebellion. It will only fuel it further.

جیونی، گوادر کے رہائشی اصغر علی کو رواں سال 16 اپریل کو جبری گمشدگی کا نشانہ بنایا گیا۔ آج تک ان کے اہلِ خانہ کو ان کے بارے میں کوئی اطلاع نہیں دی گئی۔ مگر ریاستی جبر ان کی گمشدگی پر نہیں رکا۔

گزشتہ کئی ماہ سے سیکیورٹی فورسز ان کے گھر پر مسلسل چھاپے مارتی رہیں، اہلِ خانہ کو ہراساں کیا گیا، حتیٰ کہ ان کے ایک بھائی کو جبری پریس کانفرنس کرنے پر بھی مجبور کیا گیا۔ اس کے باوجود انتقامی کارروائیاں ختم نہ ہوئیں۔

آج صبح تقریباً گیارہ بجے سیکیورٹی فورسز کے اہلکار ٹریکٹروں اور بھاری مشینری کے ساتھ پہنچے اور ان کے گھر کو ملبے کا ڈھیر بنا دیا۔

ریاست سے سوال ہے: آخر کس قانون کے تحت ایک ایسے خاندان کو اجتماعی سزا دی جا رہی ہے جس کا بیٹا پہلے ہی جبری گمشدگی کا شکار ہے؟ کون سا آئین، کون سا قانون، اور کون سا انصاف ایک طرف کسی شخص کو لاپتہ کرنے اور دوسری طرف اس کے خاندان کی چھت چھین لینے کی اجازت دیتا ہے؟

اگر ریاست کے پاس ایسا کوئی جواز موجود ہے تو عوام کے سامنے پیش کیا جائے۔ اگر نہیں تو یہ قبول کرنے میں نا ہچکچائیے کہ کہ جبر اور فسطائیت کے علاوہ کوئی راہ نہیں بچا، قانون آئین عدلیہ سب ناکارہ ہوچکے ہیں۔

عبدالحق صرف ایک استاد اور تعلیم یافتہ فرد نہیں تھے، بلکہ وہ خود بھی اپنے جبری طور پر لاپتہ بھائی رمضان بلوچ کی واپسی کے انتظار اور اذیت میں زندگی گزار رہے تھے
اپنے بھائی کی جبری گمشدگی کے بعد انہوں نے اپنے بکھرے ہوئے خاندان کو سنبھالنے کی ذمہ داری اٹھائی، اور اپنے گھر والوں کے لیے سہارا بنے رہے، مگر آج وہی عبدالحق بلوچ جو سولہ برس سے اپنے بھائی کی راہ تک رہے تھے، خود جبری گمشدگی کا شکار ہونے کے بعد مسخ شدہ لاش کی صورت میں اپنے خاندان کو واپس لوٹائے گئے۔

The life imprisonment of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee leaders is unjustified and raises serious concerns about the rule of law and the independence of the judiciary. Civil society has written to the Supreme Court , urging it to address the injustice faced by Dr. Mahrang Baloch, Sibghatullah Baloch, and other BYC leaders, and to ensure that they receive a fair trial without further delay.

The BYC leaders continue to face 50 cases alongside faceless trials that undermine the principles of due process and fair justice. These proceedings have strengthened concerns that the justice system is being used to prolong their detention instead of protecting their legal rights.

It is time for the Supreme Court to intervene, uphold constitutional guarantees, and ensure transparent and fair trials for all BYC leaders. Justice delayed is justice denied, and the integrity of the judiciary depends on its commitment to protecting fundamental rights and the rule of law.

Addressing Baloch personnel serving in the state's security institutions, Dr. Sabiha Baloch said:

"What happened in Turbat yesterday is a painful reminder of where we stand today. Turbat, long known as the land of resistance, has become a place where women, children, and families who come out to demand the return of their forcibly disappeared loved ones are beaten, dragged through the streets, detained, and subjected to fabricated cases and FIRs.

The deepest pain is not only that peaceful people were arrested or imprisoned. The greater tragedy is that many of those carrying out the violence were our own Baloch. Today, you are wearing a uniform and erasing your identity. Holding a baton does not give anyone the right to abandon humanity or turn against their own people. By doing so, you risk becoming another face of oppression against your own people.

Our culture, traditions, and values do not permit humiliation, violence, or cruelty against women, elders, and our people. Ask yourselves: who gave you this authority? Was it your land, your culture, your honour, or your conscience? Or was it only the uniform you wear?

Last night, Sayed Bibi and her children spent the night in a graveyard because of fear and persecution. Reflect on what that means. Can your faith, your identity, your homeland, or your sense of honour ever justify a mother being forced to seek refuge in a graveyard with her children?

This is not the conduct of a human person or a Baloch, but rather the act of an animal and a power lover. Remember, power is temporary. Uniforms are temporary. One day they will be taken off. When your funeral is carried, it will be Baloch shoulders that lift it, and when you are laid to rest, it is this land that will embrace you, not the uniform or the authority you once held. Before that day comes, stop and reflect on the path you are choosing.

To those Baloch serving in the FC, police, or other state institutions: participation in actions against your own people is not merely a matter of following orders but an equal participation in Baloch genocide. Then, history will remember you as a colonizer. Consider carefully what legacy you wish to leave for future generations."

سید بی بی بلوچ کی گرفتاری شرمناک عمل ہے، بلوچستان پولیس اب ریاستی بلوچ نسل کش اداروں کا براہِ راست حصہ بن چکی ہے۔

بلوچ یکجہتی کمیٹی کی رکن سید بی بی کے خلاف جاری ریاستی کارروائیاں اس حقیقت کا واضح ثبوت ہیں کہ ریاست اختلافِ رائے سے اس قدر خوفزدہ ہو چکی ہے کہ اب ایک بیوہ ماں اور اس کے معصوم بچوں کو بھی اپنی انتقامی سیاست کا نشانہ بنا رہی ہے۔ یہ صرف ایک فرد کے خلاف کارروائی نہیں، بلکہ انسانی وقار، بنیادی آزادیوں اور بلوچ عوام کی اجتماعی سیاسی آواز پر حملہ ہے۔

سید بی بی کو یکم جولائی کی رات ساڑھے نو بجے بغیر کسی قانونی جواز کے حراست میں لیا گیا اور تقریباً 24 گھنٹے بعد رہا کر دیا گیا۔ تاہم رہائی کے بعد دوبارہ فون کر کے انہیں طلب کیا گیا۔ رہائی کے تقریباً آدھے گھنٹے بعد، جب وہ گھر پہنچی، ریاستی فورسز نے انہیں فون کر کے دوبارہ پیش ہونے کو کہا۔ سید بی بی نے مؤقف اختیار کیا کہ وہ ابھی پولیس کی تحویل سے واپس آئی ہیں، اس لیے اس وقت نہیں آ سکتی، صبح حاضر ہوں گی۔ اس پر سی ٹی ڈی اہلکاروں نے انہیں گرفتاری کی دھمکی دی۔ اس دھمکی کے بعد وہ اپنے چھوٹے بچوں کے ساتھ گھر سے نکلیں اور کوئی دوسری محفوظ جگہ نہ ملنے کے باعث پوری رات اپنے شوہر کی قبر کے سرہانے، قبرستان میں پناہ لینے پر مجبور ہوئی۔ ایک بیوہ ماں کا اپنے معصوم بچوں کے ہمراہ خوف اور عدم تحفظ کے عالم میں قبرستان میں رات گزارنا اس ریاستی جبر کی سنگینی کو بے نقاب کرتا ہے۔

سید بی بی گزشتہ ایک سال سے ہر ہفتے سی ٹی ڈی کے دفتر میں پیش ہوتی رہی ہیں، اس کے باوجود ان کے خلاف مسلسل ہراسانی، دھمکیوں اور دباؤ کا سلسلہ جاری رکھا گیا۔ گزشتہ شب ان کے گھر پر پولیس نے دھاوا بولا، توڑ پھوڑ کی، اور اس کے بعد ان کی والدہ کے گھر بھی گئی، جہاں ان کے بھائی کو جبری گمشدہ کرنے کی کوشش کی گئی۔ رات قبرستان میں پناہ لینے کے بعد سید بی بی جب گھر پہنچی تو گھر کی حالت دیکھ کر اور اپنے رشتہ داروں کو ہراساں کیے جانے کے خلاف تربت پریس کلب پہنچی ، جہاں انہوں نے پریس کانفرنس کی۔
اس کے بعد وہ خود سی ٹی ڈی دفتر گئی تاکہ انویسٹی گیشن کے لیے پیش ہوں، مگر وہاں انہیں گرفتار کر کے 3-MPO کے تحت ایک ماہ کے لیے تربت سینٹر جیل منتقل کر دیا گیا۔

یہ اقدامات واضح کرتے ہیں کہ ریاست قانون کو انصاف کے لیے نہیں بلکہ اختلافی آوازوں کو دبانے کے لیے استعمال کر رہی ہے۔ ایک سیاسی کارکن اور ایک بیوہ ماں کو بار بار نشانہ بنانا نہ صرف بنیادی انسانی حقوق کی خلاف ورزی ہے بلکہ بلوچستان میں جاری ریاستی جبر کو بھی بے نقاب کرتا ہے۔

بلوچ یکجہتی کمیٹی سید بی بی کی فوری اور غیر مشروط رہائی کا مطالبہ کرتی ہے اور واضح کرتی ہے کہ اگر ان کی جان، سلامتی یا صحت کو کوئی نقصان پہنچا تو اس کی مکمل ذمہ داری متعلقہ ریاستی اداروں اور حکام پر عائد ہوگی۔
