aww 🥺 Jun Ishikawa is my hero. the energy, the warm and melancholic vibe of his tunes, his creativity and love for sound design have always been an unceasing source of inspiration to me, ever since I played Kirby Super Star as a kid.

According to the recently released Kirby and the Forgotten Land: The Complete Soundtrack, Jun Isihikawa, Kirby composer since the very first game, is now a "former" HAL Laboratory member. It is unknown if he will still be composing for the Kirby series.

after getting to know his outlook on music through staff interviews, I've come to relate to him a lot artistically. I admire how he's been outspoken about his struggles as a musician, always with a certain humor (「困るのは私の仕事です」"struggling is my job" 😭).

@rewitkin great atmosphere! the string pad in pattern 12 has a certain texture that sounds a lot like rain or wind.
