As LLM-assisted vulnerability research rises, this is a good reminder of what it actually takes to be great:

The best researchers I’ve worked with all share one trait: unwavering self-belief.
I noticed an alarming change within myself because of LLM usage: I have become lazy of reading.
These days, if I ask @grok a question and its answer is long, I would get annoyed and tell it to give me a TDLR. Sometimes, I even become impatient enough to tell it to answer concicsely in advance, which I just stop because that usually leads to worse answers.
I am afraid that as Grok becomes infinitely better, and its short answers are all informative and correct, I will become addicted to consuming short chunks of text. Pretty much like the way some people are addicted to the short videos on TikTok.
That is scary. Losing the enthusiasm to read is the key to falling behind. And if it is happening to me, I suspect it is happening to many who are growing up in this age of AI.
I have enjoyed watching @theori_io’s YouTube channel (with auto translate). It would be awesome to have more VR companies adapt to a similar culture.

Go dumpster diving for arbitrary code execution in v8's garbage collector with @mmolgtm in his Chrome vulnerability RCA for CVE-2021-37975 https://t.co/RvwqIYh7v4
FireShell CTF 2020 is over! It was a very exciting 24h event with teams all over the globe. Like last year's event, congrats to @WreckTheLine for topping the scoreboard once again and the top brazilian teams @eltctfbr and Ganesh for 2nd and 9th place!
