We’re sharing our completed post-mortem on the April 18th incident, prepared with @Mandiant and @CrowdStrike. We are publishing both an executive summary and the full report at the link below.
Over the past four weeks, we’ve worked with hundreds of partners to help them understand their current security posture, and harden it where appropriate. We’ll continue this work, alongside taking additional proactive steps for the benefit of not only our partners, but also the ecosystem as a whole.
We want to extend our thanks to our partners for their support and patience this past month. There’s a reason that over $12 billion has moved across the network in the past four weeks, and why the world’s most valuable asset issuers have stood by our side: they believe in us, in what the LayerZero protocol has to offer, and in the value of modular, isolated, application-controlled security.
The work continues. And we look forward to continue showing up for the applications that trust us with their business, as well as the broader ecosystem.

I hope the people of Iran, Israel, and the United States stay safe. War has a cruel face, but unfortunately the Islamic regime in Iran has left no other choice for the people of Iran and other nations. I am thankful that you are thoughtfully considering the safety of non-military citizens.
God bless America,
Am Yisrael Chai,

The U.S. showed interest, and we welcomed that support.
Apparently, there are benefits for the US in this as we.
As I have family and friends in Iran, it is also hard for me to support a long-term war. I hope it would be possible to target the regime’s repression forces remotely, so the people of Iran can finish this themselves.
I also sincerely hope that U.S. soldiers are kept safe and that their lives are protected.
You can see my personal website on my profile. I am not a fake account. I was respectful, and I will remain respectful.
This is my view. I believe international intervention is necessary, and I also believe the U.S. benefits from such intervention. Of course, the U.S. would not intervene solely to help the people of Iran. I hope that the interests of the United States align with the freedom of Iranians.
That said, I remain respectful of whatever decisions the U.S. government and its citizens ultimately make.
Nick,
You are one of the thinkers I often cite when explaining Bitcoin’s democratic values, including your rational stance on issues like smaller block sizes.
As an Iranian, I want to be clear about why I believe international intervention is sometimes necessary. More than 30,000 people have been killed. The protesters are unarmed civilians.
When the U.S. has acted to help societies resist terrorism and forces hostile to basic freedoms, that intervention has mattered. From where we stand, abandoning unarmed civilians to armed extremists is not neutrality.
I respect your views on government decisions. I am not a U.S. citizen, and I recognize that these judgments ultimately belong to those who are.
