A year has passed since the beginning of El-Fasher massacre, one of the worst episodes of ethnic-based genocide since Rwanda genocide three decades ago.

Rapid Support Forces, a UAE-sponsored militia waging brutal war against Sudan's military government has long before then been accused of ethnic cleansing of Darfur region. They targeted and killed non-Arab inhabitants of the region for years, but on October 26, 2025, when besieged city of El-Fasher fell to the militia, violence reached an unprecedented level of brutality.

Tens of thousands of civilians were systematically gunned down in the streets, in hospitals and while trying to flee the city. Many militants filmed themselves commiting the massacre, and then subsequently published said videos online.
Piles of bodies and gigantic blood stains on the desert were visible from space on satellite imagery. Yet despite overwhelming evidence, and brutality unheard of in decades, the massacre was mostly under-reported in the Western media sphere.

UAE continues to sponsor RSF to this day.

Solitary confinement is psychological torture. Holding a former Prime Minister in severe isolation while harassing and detaining his sisters (Aleema, Uzma, and Noreen Khan) is an alarming abuse of state power.

میرے حوالے سے ان کے اقدامات نئے نہیں۔ گذشتہ کئی سالوں میں میرے خاندان دوستوں اور ساتھیوں کو اغوا، لاپتہ، تشدد کرنے سے گرفتار کرنے، گھر توڑنے کے متعدد واقعات ہوچکے ہیں۔ کل رات ان جرنیلوں کے مسلط کردہ ٹٹو کا بیان سُنا کے ایک ”مفرور” کے گھر کی خواتین سے دست درازی کرنا جائز ہے۔ میں اس تفصیل میں تو جاتا ہی نہیں کہ اِس ”مفرور“ کا اصل جرم کیا ہے مگر کل پہلی مرتبہ اپنی قوم کی زندگیوں کا سوال کرنے والوں سے ”آہنی ہاتھوں سے نبٹنے والی“ فوج کے آرمی چیف اور ان کی ٹیم کا شکست خوردہ انداز یاد کرکے ہنسی آئی۔ سیاسی مخالفین کے گھر توڑنے والوں، نہتی عورتوں پر ہاتھ ڈالنے والوں کا سامنا بندوقوں والوں سے ہوتا ہے تو اپنے اُن جوانوں کے خون کا بھی سودا کر آتے ہیں جن کی قربانیاں قوم کو ازبر کرا کرا کر اپنے ناجائز قبضے کا جواز ڈھونڈتے ہیں۔ خُدا کسی کو بے غیرت دشمن نہ دے۔

Today, the Punjab government confirmed before the Lahore High Court that my mother, Aleema Khan @Aleema_KhanPK and my aunts, Dr Uzma Khan @DrUzma_KhanPK and @Noreen_KhanPK Noreen Niazi, have been detained for another 30 days under the MPO.

What is particularly disturbing is that, according to the government’s own submission, the extension was approved on 7 October, yet only disclosed before the court on 26 October.

Why was this order not disclosed during the Lahore High Court hearings on 9th and 12th October? Why was our family kept in the dark, even after their original 30-day detention periods had expired?

For over a month, @ImranKhanPTI’s three sisters have been held in prison, denied access to their families and legal counsel, simply for standing by their brother, Imran Khan.

As a son and nephew, I ask: What threat do three women pose to the state that warrants another month of imprisonment? What are the authorities so afraid of?

The law should protect citizens from arbitrary detention, not become an instrument of persecution.

We demand their immediate release, immediate access to their families and lawyers, and full disclosure of the legal grounds for their continued detention.

We will keep fighting for justice. We will not be silenced.
