"Portion control" and "eat for survival" are rather contradictory statements. One implies excess, and the other implies scarcity, respectively. But if you will—genuinely asking—how does scarcity produce over-portioning rather than under-eating?

There's a portion control problem in Nigeria and I attribute it to the fact that a good number of the population eat for survival.

It is needless to pit these sources against each other, for each furnishes the mind with tools that the other may lack. Books would enrich the mind's lexicon and the architect of thought, while podcasts and films would help tune the ear and train the tongue. Draw from both wells.

Movies and podcasts or even socialising and talking more with people, has more chances of helping you build articulation. Books don’t do shit. Or at least, very little.

I interacted with ChatGPT that I may understand the subtleties of software development and software engineering, and it did offer clear insights into the distinctions of both practices.

Though both practices are intertwined, software development is more concerned with building interfaces that gives form to an application, whilst software engineering concerns with the underlying scaffolding and structure of the application that holds it firmly in place.
