#OnePlus wants ₹46,999 for a replacement after my #OnePlus12 died from a mainboard issue. That feels less like support and more like paying almost full price again.

The linked OnePlus Community thread tracks unprovoked motherboard failures and "sudden dead" incidents reported on the OnePlus 12.
OnePlus 12 Motherboard DEAD! Brand Update 🚨
We spoke to the OnePlus team regarding the reported motherboard issue on the OnePlus 12.
Here’s the latest update:
• The community post was dated, hence removed.
• OnePlus has declined the possibility of any sudden surge causing the issue.
• The latest OTA update for the OnePlus 12 has not shown any reported issues so far.
I am not sure what's causing the Issue but I really want to connect to someone & have a conversation what's exactly happening with the units.
Indian telecom market is getting ridiculous!!
AirTel earns the highest revenue per user compared to JIO & VI, but they aren’t even providing Unlimited 5G in reality.
Airtel: ₹264
Jio: ₹215.6
Vi: ₹195
Prices keep going up, cheap plans keep disappearing, and consumers are being pushed toward higher value packs.
At this point, competition isn’t lowering prices. It’s just deciding who gets to charge you more.
Airtel discontinued all these affordable recharge plans from today :
• ₹299 plan discontinued
• ₹319 plan discontinued
• ₹579 plan discontinued (in some regions)
• ₹619 plan discontinued (in some regions)
• ₹649 plan discontinued
• ₹799 plan discontinued
They have increased the price of few plans and decreased the benefits, like :
• ₹859 recharge plan price hiked to ₹899
This is basically they're hiking the recharge price silently !
Jio & Vodafone might follow soon!
Airtel removed the ₹299, ₹319, ₹579, ₹619 & ₹649 recharge plans!!
₹349 is now the cheapest unlimited plan now, also ₹859 plan increased to ₹899 with less benefits.
They also started providing 4G unlimited a few days back.
I feel their services aren’t up to the mark.
@yabhishekhd The 1+12 users, who ever have faced this Motherboard Dead Issue, have you ever tried to downgrade your device when it was in ok condition ???

Maharashtra shows the Way
Food safety is ultimately about people, not files, inspections or statistics.
Every safe meal is a family protected. Every action against unsafe food is a step towards protecting someone’s health, dignity and future.
Maharashtra’s experience reminds us that governance earns people’s trust when purpose is clear, action is fair, and compassion remains at the heart of enforcement.
Public service is, at its core, about standing with people; especially when they need the system most.

"OnePlus India continues to operate its business as usual, with all local operations on track. We urge the media to exercise restraint before amplifying unverified speculation."
It's true: Android phone maker OnePlus will shut down in the US and Europe as early as this week. It's also planning to exit India and elsewhere outside China in 2027. More details here: https://t.co/jf06P9Gfy5
🚨 BREAKING: ONEPLUS OFFICIALLY CONFIRMS THE SHIFT TO COLOROS.
OnePlus has confirmed that all existing OnePlus phones will continue to receive the software updates they were promised, but future updates will now be based on ColorOS 17 instead of OxygenOS.
The company says this change will:
• Deliver faster software updates
• Improve software quality and stability
• Make better use of shared OPPO and OnePlus engineering & R&D resources
• Speed up feature development across devices
OnePlus also confirmed that:
• Existing update promises remain unchanged, only the software base is changing.
• Security patches and maintenance updates will continue to be handled by OnePlus.
• The focus on a fast, smooth and user-friendly experience remains the same.
• OnePlus apps, services and customer support will continue as before.
• A detailed rollout roadmap for eligible devices will be shared later.
This marks the end of the OxygenOS era as we knew it.
