@WuTangWallyNy @notanother3putt @rarecarat Second hand diamond jewelry ain’t much my man. I get that you’re protecting your interests but selling a diamond for 20% what you paid is not an investment.
“Libertarians are very much on their own . . . on the idea that we should have open borders to destroy the welfare state. Alex Nowrasteh of the Cato Institute says this and Bryan Caplan says this and no one likes those guys because of this, like stop, you’re weird, you know? And your movement doesn’t have any girls in it and that’s why, because you’re just creepy weird.”

@Jowanza@eightsleep I was looking up parts to build something just like this— I found a couple things but nothing with a feedback loop for natural sleep cycles during the night. Much easier to just buy it, I already have plenty of work.
@unpilottedmotto@GergelyOrosz@codeOfRobin Software is still heavily bespoke most of the time. A whole lot of engineering uses pretty established sets of techniques. Civil the most so.
@GergelyOrosz@codeOfRobin It’s just so hard to credentialize software— lots and lots of folks have the degree or certificate or whatever and… still suck. Why is the interview process so weird and awful? Because so many devs suck bad.
@mnwsth Most credible e plantation I’ve heard so far is that the board was from an earlier simpler stage in the company. Altman (appropriately) wanted them replaced with heavy hitters that could handle running a company of this magnitude. The board found out and moved first.
@Jowanza No it’s cool there’s no way a bunch of teenagers, often from poor backgrounds, who legally cannot get paid while working for a billion dollar enterprise, would be affected by sports books.
Never heard of such things before.
@chrisrbleak@NateSilver538 Listen your state flag is not required to look like a startup logo.
I am on team industry eagle forever.
It’s way way cornier to be trying hard to have a cool flag.
