Honestly, I didn’t expect this one.

But I guess this is another reminder that no matter how legit a project is, having a real product alone isn’t enough.

You can verify the product exists. You can verify the team is actually building. You can verify that it’s not another larp.

But none of that guarantees success.

If the people behind it can’t grow the product, bring in users, keep the community alive, and actually stay focused on what they started, there’s nothing holders can really do about it.

A legit product can still fail.

And then I got this DM.

Someone who told me they were working with the team behind Lynks reached out because they were already pushing another tech coin and wanted my thoughts on it.

That’s exactly the kind of shit I don’t wanna see.

I didn’t care about getting an early entry into another coin. I cared about what was happening to the product I supported and the people who believed in it.

This is literally why we started @WatchersLabs in the first place. I’m tired of watching people jump from one project to another while the previous community gets left behind.

And we’re taking this further.

I’m currently working on a database and bot to track deployer wallets together with their X accounts, as well as CT accounts that repeatedly farm communities or larp around projects.

The goal is simple: build a history people can actually check.

And most likely, The Watchers v2 and the rest of the features we’re building won’t be made public. They’ll only be accessible internally as we’re currently changing how @WatchersLabs works.

I took the risk, so the $9k roundtrip is on me. No excuses.

But this DM definitely changed the way I look at the situation.
