@i2e21Ke This idea stayed with me the most. We are all different and have been introduced to different experiences and paths in life that makes us see things differently from each other. Our different perspectives are what gives us a sense of morality #I2E21
@SydneyEthics I agree. Being courageous requires you to overcome fear to accomplish a set goal. If you aren’t scared and are simply just accomplishing a task, than that is not courage. #I2E21
I really enjoyed this class this semester. A lot of topics we covered will stick with me and i think this class really showed me how morality and ethics are not so easily defined #I2E21
@SohamSh16719003 I thought the same thing at first but now i can understand why they might have been that way. If someone told you something seemingly absurd & unusual you might not believe them either because of the fact that it’s foreign to you #I2E21
This weeks unit introduced me to the difference between wisdom and intelligence. I always thought that they were basically the same thing so it was interesting to learn what sets the two apart #I2E21
@BHethics4 I think it’s important to care about people other than the ones you have relationships. If you think about it, we need people like police, doctors and firefighters to care about more than just the people important to them#I2E21
Although i don’t think Jake had the most developed response, i do think that his response was the most realistic. Most people disregard consequences and the outcomes of their actions if it means helping out a someone they care about#I2E21
@Corbin78763532 Yes, I really liked that this unit emphasized the idea that doing good things doesn’t always make a good person. You have to want to do those good things for all the right reasons #I2E21
@JonathanDaity That is an interesting way to view her response. I think when faced with a dilemma like that, it would be more useful to put things in Amy’s perspective and weigh all of your options before making a decision #I2E21
@i2e21Ke I agree. I thought that Amy’s response showed that she was more considerate of others and how the outcome could effect everyone involved. #I2E21
@JorgeEd36973635 Inclinations are based on emotions and feelings. What you may feel inclined to do today, may be different tomorrow. Usually when you do something out of duty, you fell compelled to do it no matter what. #I2E21
@smithjethics It depends on whether or not you were aware of the cause at the time you donated. If you had good intentions behind your own actions then the actions of others do not matter #I2E21
@miiiamor7 I agree. Different things make different people happy. To a “evil” individual, things that inflict and cause harm and pain in others might make them happy and produce joy. Just because you have positive feeling towards something, doesn’t mean that it is morally upright #I2E21
Before completing his weeks modules, i didn’t know about all the different types of rights. I think these different types confused me & made it even more difficult to determine what exactly a right is #I2E21
