@vaxryy Most of the committed RAM at least on desktop computers is not code. Maybe 2-10%. I bet the ratios on servers are normally pretty similar. Things can get pathological in edge cases but I guess this won't matter too much.

@dhh Moved two of my computers over to Linux after seeing your posts and I’m amazed how much snappier they are than they were on Linux. And I don’t have to have MS try to make Bing my default browser. Considering switching the last computer to Linux and saying bye to MS entirely.
