Opportunity party leader Qiulae Wong gives her vision of New Zealand if she and her party are the govt over the next 24 years.

In 2050 we will live in compact co-operative housing projects where, as native birds sing happily, we grow cheap food in community gardens.

We will "build strong connections with our neighbours" and the country will be "far less divided".

There will be "respectful dialogue" (of course) around issues. Any rebels in govt (and elsewhere presumably) will have to answer to "citizen's assemblies".

It a speech that sounds very like those given by communist party officials in Chinese villages during Chairman Mao's murderous and blood thirsty "people's" revolution.

In its fanciful approach to 15 minute cities, climate change, the environment and doing business Ms Wong also sounds eerily similar to the WEF.

"You'll own nothing and you'll be happy."

Remember- when politicians tell us who they are, we should remember it.

IMHO Ms Wong is a Marxist/ communist subversive. No one with a working brain would give up traditional western liberties for her absurdly unrealistic scenario.

Millions of Chinese citizens fell for it. Most of them ended up starving to death.

Wind turbines deliver 25-35% of their rated capacity across a year. Solar has a ceiling too. Standard silicon panels top out near 33% theoretical efficiency.

Then comes the bigger problem.

Wind and solar do not run on demand. They need backup, storage, transmission and overbuild. That is the hidden system cost, all left out of official reports.

The hardware also wears out. Many assets last 15 years, then the replacement treadmill begins.

After decades of subsidies, fossil fuels still supply about 86% of global primary energy.

Wind and solar are minor additions, not replacements.

There is no energy transition underway.

Reaching Net Zero by 2050 would require mining 4.5 million tons of copper, 940 million tons of nickel, 9 billion tons of graphite, and 4 million tons of germanium.

At current global mining rates, that scale of extraction would take more than 1,000 years.

Mining capacity cannot be multiplied by orders of magnitude in just 24 years.

Permitting timelines alone are measured in decades, and energy inputs rise as deposits degrade.

Most constraints are physical, not political.

Very soon National will announce that they will adopt the EU Age assurance platform instead, which is unashamedly and indisputably - digital ID.

🚨 (EUDI / eIDAS 2.0): The app is a lightweight “mini-wallet” using the exact same technical standards as the full EU Digital Identity Wallets.

Building 1 GW of solar capacity is not clean.

It requires around 18.5 tons of silver.
3,400 tons of polysilicon.
And more than 10,000 tons of aluminum.

Producing the polysilicon alone consumes thousands of tons of quartz, coal, petroleum, coke, charcoal, and wood chips.

Refining the silver for 1 GW uses roughly 4,600 megawatt hours of electricity, the annual power use of 400 U.S. homes.

Producing the aluminum consumes nearly 2 million gigajoules of energy, enough to power more than 100,000 households for a year.

Solar power is built with massive fossil energy inputs. Only the output is labeled "green." These are the realities campaigners never want to talk about.

The Crowns expert witness - a Professor of Epidemiology at Auckland University provided 2022 Age Standardised Mortality stats for NZ (easy to find).
With that it is also easy to predict expected mortality according to all age groups and the length of time they were followed after their last vaccination.
Remember this is for over 2 million people of ALL ages.
The results are devastating.
Overall SMR = 1.51 (using 2022 elevated mortality stats).
Observed deaths were approximately 51% higher than expected even under the 2022 baseline rates, given the actual person-time at risk in the cohort.
SMR is close to or below 1 in younger bands and rises steadily in older bands (reaching ~1.6 in the 75+ groups). This gradient is consistent.
This is a clean, person-time-adjusted analysis. No subset cherry-picking...just data.
P-value for this being a 'fluke' (Poisson test)
Under the null hypothesis that the 2022 baseline rates fully explain the mortality (i.e. no excess), the number of observed deaths follows a Poisson distribution with mean = expected deaths.

Observed deaths (O) = 37,250
Expected deaths (E) = 24,719.5
SMR ≈ 1.51

For large numbers the normal approximation to the Poisson is excellent:

The one-sided p-value for observing this many (or more) deaths by chance is:
p < 10^{-1000} (effectively 0 for any practical or statistical purpose).

ZERO CHANCE THIS IS A 'FLUKE'.
Covid vaccines should have been investigated and stopped years ago.

A new study analyzed daily temperatures from 992 long-running weather stations across 29 countries covering the years 1899 to 2024.

Then it compared those temperatures to cumulative human CO2 emissions.

They don't match.

From 1899 to 1940, the planet warmed at a rate of 0.022 C per year, even though emissions were low.

Then from 1941 to 1982, temperatures cooled, despite CO2 emissions more than tripling.

From 1983 to 2024, warming returned, but slower than before, at a rate of 0.017 C per year, even as emissions rose 8.6 times higher than during the earlier warming phase.

As the author concludes, "These findings challenge the conventional assumption that human-induced CO2 is the primary driver of global warming."
