Everything you want is on the other side of taking a shot, asking again, and not giving a fuck about what other people think until you get what you want.
You just have to fucking try.
Traders say it's a mental battle.
Ecom is war.
Shopify bans your payments. Your supplier cheaps on you. Meta kills your ad account. All in the same week.
And you ask yourself: "Should I just quit?"
When it's good, it's the best feeling in the world. When it's bad, it's as bad as it fr gets.
The trenches are real. And i’ve been there.
I’m increasingly convinced hand-drawn style ads are becoming a cheat code.
Not because they look “better.”
Because they look DIFFERENT.
Your feed is full of:
→ AI-perfect UGC
→ polished product shots
→ cinematic edits
→ the same templates
Then you see a messy drawing.
Your brain stops.
That pattern interrupt is the creative.
And now brands are literally PRINTING these ads.
The lesson: Creative doesn’t have to look better. It has to look different enough to earn attention. ✍️📈
This is what i love about native ads, i was scrolling on GetHooked and got stopped when seeing this image.
Just by looking at this image i feel the mucus physically in my body. It is so uncomfortable that i started reading the hook.
If you get stopped when doing concept research then figure out why, the same reason you stopped will be the reason your audience stops.
Tactile Images that evoke a feeling or emotion are so powerful.
use whatever the fuck you have. looks, genetics, talent, connections, money, all of it.
there's nothing noble about choosing the hardest path just to feel like an underdog.
If you want to dramatically improve your quality of life, learn to recover your attention quickly after something steals it. Social media arguments, stressful thoughts, minor inconveniences. Most of it is noise that steals hours to days of enjoyment. Breathe and let it go.
there's many guys on here who rebill supplements (promising to cure cancer) to old people who don't know how to cancel... all with a bible verse in their bio
whatever your take on religion is, ecom has real karma attached to it and should be treated as such
everything you do comes back to you one way or another, even if you don't think it does at the time.
you don't wanna make your money by scamming people.
A native image concept i have been absolutely RINSING this past week, Body drawing comparing outcomes.
Pick their failed solution ($54.99 acne cream) Then compare it while showing results to your ($29.98 product THAT ACTUALLY WORKS)
Test it out
