The Dodgers literally told everybody after the 2024 World Series that the Yankees crumble when you put pressure on their defense and it’s still true 2 years later.
The Dodgers can win 5 World Series titles in a row and i still won’t get over the 2017 World Series being stolen from The Dodgers. Only Astros fans think it’s legitimate. Lives were changed because of it. If you’re a Dodgers fan and have gotten over it, congrats!
Since we acquired the @Dodgers in 2012 for $2.15B, the franchise has grown 318% and is now valued at $9B. Over that time, we’ve won 3 World Series titles, 12 division championships, and led the MLB in attendance every year! And we’re off to a great start this season with the best record in the league at 16–6 👏🏾

Anthony Banda had a career 5.69 ERA when the Dodgers traded cash to acquire him in May 2024.
With LA, he had a 3.14 ERA across 119 appearances. He also pitched 13.2 postseason innings, helping the Dodgers win back to back World Series.
He turned his career around in LA.
In here: How much has Shohei Ohtani's arrival transformed the Dodgers financially?
Not only did their revenues jump by an estimated $200+ million in his debut 2024 season (making them MLB's first $1B revenue team, per @Sportico). But their sponsorship business alone is now believed to make as much money as roughly half the league’s teams do overall
The Dodgers are NOT the problem. In fact, they put almost 3/4 of their revenue BACK into the team.
The problem is the teams at the bottom of this list that do the opposite.

With all of the vitriol directed towards the Dodgers, remember:
The Red Sox chose not to sign Mookie Betts and traded him to LA.
Atlanta walked away from Freddie Freeman.
The Angels declined to match Shohei Ohtani's offer.
The Astros and Cubs didn't want to keep Kyle Tucker.
Since @JeffPassan posted this in September 2012, the Dodgers have won 12 of 14 division titles, been to 5 World Series - winning 3, and are arguably now the most powerful ballclub in the history of baseball. An absolutely incredible turnaround.
Screw the luxury tax the Dodgers might as well go get Bo Bichette too while they’re at it.
LA waking up every morning like what fan base can we make even more sick today while half the league is out here clipping coupons. Fans if your team isn’t getting better don’t be mad at the Dodgers be mad at your ownership. They’re choosing winning over everything and everybody else is choosing excuses.🤷🏾♂️
