Full DC extension cord CSA certification is nearing completion. This certification is for the entire product, not specific components.
We are preparing for initial production and ramp with pre-orders to start during summer 2026.
Deliveries starting September 2026 or sooner.
We obtained UL 2252 certification on the CCS1 to NACS (regular and Cybertruck), NACS to J1772, J1772 to NACS and replacement hard-wired cables (NACS & J1772).
This is more than any other adapter company. Additionally this is with CSA, not going to get into the details, but they are pretty strict on the actual standard requirements compared to others.
As for the NACS to CCS1, it is tied to the DC extension cord (not the best decision, we concede). New ETA is by end of May. The Typhoon already passed all of UL2252 tests, it's just a matter of the DC extension cord now.
We know it's been a long time that this certification has bee promised and we are as annoyed as everyone.

Latest Update: DC Extension Cord Certification
The DC extension cord is currently undergoing UL certification. In tandem with this process, two OEMs and one CPO are rigorously testing the unit to ensure its safety and performance align with industry standards.
We recognize the high demand for this product, but we want to be clear: this is a safety-critical component. We will not release it until it is fully certified and/or formally accepted by our industry stakeholders.
Why Safety Comes First
While other options exist on the market where only the cable itself is certified, we strongly advise against using unverified DC extension cords. A product of this nature requires:
- Precision Engineering: To handle high-voltage loads without degradation.
- Integrated Safety Mechanisms: To protect both the user and the vehicle.
- Thorough Market Research: To ensure compatibility across various charging infrastructures.
We are intentionally taking our time to get this right. For us, safety is the only priority—we value the integrity of our product and the security of our users far above the potential revenue from a premature release.
