Meet Dr. Ghasi Ram Verma who was born into a poor farming family in Sigari village, Jhunjhunu. Rajasthan.

He faced serious financial difficulties and received scholarships/help from donors, friends and the government and completed his education 

He taught at the University of Rhode Island, in the United States becoming a mathematics professor He devoted his wealth to education/social causes in Rajasthan

His dedication of his life savings to education in India, particularly girls' education.

He is fondly known as a "Crorepati Fakir" / "Millionaire Fakir" 

Much of his philanthropy was directed toward girls' education. 

He helped establish the Maharshi Dayanand Mahila Sikshan Sansthan in 1982, aimed at educating rural girls. Its girls' hostel now accommodates 800+ girls and its girls' college has 1,400+ students. He has contributed more than ₹9 crore

He turned 99 on August 1, 2026 and was still active in public/educational life. 

He deserves Padma Shri award from government of India

Bharat–Oman CEPA came into force on 1 June 2026, strengthening trade, investment and logistics connectivity.
Now, amid the disruption around Hormuz, Saudi crude is already being loaded via ship-to-ship transfers off Sohar, demonstrating the practical value of an alternative route.

Sohar + Duqm + Salalah can give Bharat more options, more redundancy and greater strategic resilience across the Gulf.

This is what I love about Modi Ji’s foreign policy. He doesn't wait for a crisis to build alternatives. He Builds relationships, infrastructure and strategic options BEFORE the crisis.

From diplomacy to energy security to trade routes—Bharat is quietly building its strategic safety net.

Happy 76th birthday to one of Ma Bharati’s favorite children, Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji!

Though I predicted some weakness for him during Sept 2025-Sept 2026, next one year is stronger.

He has managed things quite skillfully for India during some pivotal & messy years in the middle of a chaotic & transformational decade for the world. Indians are fortunate to be led by him, even if many of them may not yet realize it.
