โCHEAPER FUEL MUST MEAN CHEAPER TRANSPORT FARESโ: PRESIDENT TINUBU, GOVERNORS MOVE TO CUT TRANSPORT FARES NATIONWIDE
I am pleased with my discussion with the Governorsโ Forum this afternoon. The Governors have, on their own initiative, resolved to take immediate measures to bring down the cost of transportation in their states, with a strong focus on leveraging the cost benefits of CNG and electric vehicles.
The Federal Government is already investing significantly in this energy transition. Through the Presidential CNG Initiative, over 120,000 vehicles have been converted nationwide, with more than 100,000 additional conversion kits in the works. At the same time, we continue to expand conversion centres and refuelling infrastructure nationwide.
The Federal Government, through the Midstream and Downstream Gas Infrastructure Fund, is currently financing more than 100 gas projects across the country, including 15 CNG mother stations and 86 daughter stations. In May, I commissioned four of these projects in Lagos, Abuja and Owerri, including a 15-station refuelling network in Lagos and an Abuja facility that can serve 1,000 cars and tricycles and 50 trucks and buses a day.
I have also directed the additional rollout of another 500 CNG refuelling stations nationwide in addition to the 500 stations ordered earlier in the year by the Fund, bringing the programme to 1,000 stations across the country.
Intra-state transport is where Nigerians feel the cost most directly, and it is where the states hold the levers. I am encouraged that our Governors are moving to bring these benefits closer to the people they serve.
We have agreed to set up a joint Federal and State committee to begin implementing these measures immediately. A vehicle running on CNG spends 60 to 80 per cent less on fuel than one running on petrol.
From October 1, our goal is that Nigerians begin to partake in those savings through lower transport fares.
We have agreed that cheaper fuel should result in cheaper fares!
Each tier of government must keep doing its part and work together for the benefit of every Nigerian.
Nigeria First.

We have done this before. The subsidy regime created opportunities for diversion, smuggling, arbitrage and massive corruption. You buying at 500 was not necessarily getting a cheaper product, somebody else was paying the difference and that somebody was the Nigerian taxpayer.
Subsidy is gone. It should remain gone. What we should demand is lower inflation, a more efficient petroleum market, functional refineries and policies that reduce the real cost of living, not a return to a system that encourages corruption.

The Richest Man in Babylon was one of the books that thought me so much. It prevented me from repeating common financial errors most people make. You may also learn from it or a version of it.
Here are some the financial lessons (laws) from the book:
1. Pay Yourself First : Save at least 10% of everything you earn before you spend on anything else. This builds the habit of wealth automatically. What you donโt see, you donโt miss.
2. Control Thy Expenditures
Live below your means, no matter how much you earn: The book teaches the difference between necessary expenses and desires and warns that expenses will always rise to meet income if you let them.
3. Make Thy Gold Multiply: Money should work for you, not sleep in your pocket.
Invest wisely so your savings create more income.
4. Guard Thy Treasure from Loss: Avoid schemes that promise quick profits. Only invest where your principal is safe, and seek advice from people who have proven success.
5. Make of Thy Dwelling a Profitable Investment: Own your home if possible, it stabilizes your future and reduces long-term financial stress.
6. Ensure a Future Income: Prepare for old age and emergencies. Wealth is not just about getting rich, but about not becoming poor again.
7. Increase Thy Ability to Earn:
Your greatest asset is your skill and knowledge. Constantly improve yourself, because higher earning power accelerates everything else.
8. Seek Wise Counsel: Learn from those who know more than you. Bad advice is expensive; good advice multiplies value.
9. Take Responsibility for Your Finances: No one will rescue you. The book repeatedly reminds us that discipline beats luck every time.
10. Start Now (Time Is the Greatest Asset): Even small amounts grow big when given time. Delay is the enemy of wealth.
After 10 days of drinking hot water every morning, Iโve noticed real changes in my body. My digestion feels smoother, my stomach is less bloated, and I feel lighter overall. My throat feels clearer, and my skin looks brighter. Itโs such a simple habit, but the difference itโs making in my daily well being is honestly surprising.
I need your help urgently.
One of my team members, Douye Tungbulu @TunzDev, is going through every familyโs worst nightmare.
His mother, Tina, is battling stage 4 ovarian cancer. Three days ago, Douye asked for time off, and when I asked why, he told me she was in the hospital fighting for her life.
The medical bills are crushing โฆ16 million total for her treatment. Theyโve already spent โฆ1.1 million out of pocket, and yesterday another โฆ3.6 million was paid to begin her clinical procedures and first month of treatment. Thatโs โฆ4.7 million down, but thereโs still โฆ11.3 million to go.
Douye is one of the hardest working, very dedicated to work. He shows up every day, delivers excellent work, and never complains. Now heโs watching his mother fight for her life while scrambling to keep her treatment going.

This is a mind-bogglingly ignorant take, and what that self-proclaimed Imam wrote does not align with the Islamic position on who gets to educate others in Islam, as stated in Qurโan 49:13. Islam reached Africa before it reached even Madina, the second holiest city in Islam. That may sound absurd at first, but it is historically accurate. Islam arrived in Africa in 615 on the Julian calendar and reached Madina (Medina) in 622 CE. Islam reached Africa through the first hijrah, the migration to Abyssinia, when followers of the Prophet were being persecuted in Makkah (Mecca) and sought refuge on the African continent.
The group of exiles were hosted and protected by the king of the Aksum Kingdom, present-day Ethiopia and Eritrea, known as the Negus or Najashi. This hospitality allowed for the open practice of Islam in the christian kingdom and led to conversions, and there are documented accounts that the king himself, known in Arabic sources as Ashama ibn Abjar, secretly accepted Islam.
So, yes, Islam was present in Africa long before the place known today as the UAE. It is also worth mentioning that the first Muslim to call the prayer was a black man named Bilal ibn Rabah, who was a freed slave from Abyssinia. The claim that geographical location confers primacy, supremacy, or qualification to teach Islam is therefore absolute nonsense. The Qurโanic verse mentioned above, which is an acknowledgment of our creations as nations and tribes, declared, with no ambiguity, that the most noble in the sight of Allah are the most righteous, not the Arabs, not the Africans, not the Caucasians, not the rich, and certainly not the Emiratis. We learn Islam from the most knowledgeable, whether black or white, Arab or African. Educated Africans have been teaching Islam to Arabs since the earliest days of the faith, which is precisely why Bilal, a black African, and not an Arab, was honoured as the first muezzin in Islam.
You can counter extremism or preach moderation without repeatedly bending history or pandering to a racist Arab, a charlatan of the textbook kind, whose prejudice towardS your own kind, evident in his post, I am surprised you failed to see.

Bomb blast in a mosque but they removed mosque from the headline and replaced it with Christmas to fit their christian genocide propaganda.
We are fighting both terrorists and the hypocrisy of media propagandists.
So a bomb explodes inside a mosque in Maiduguri, the victims are Muslims, yet Nigerian media deliberately frames it as Bomb blast rocks Maiduguri on Christmas Eve. If you people report the actual news, will you die? This selective wording is not journalism, itโs madness and unprofessional.
How are we supposed to be fighting terrorism when weโre also forced to fight stupid, bigoted Nigerian media that thrives on twisting facts to inflame religious tension? Terror has no religion, but manufacturing a Christian genocide narrative is sickening, irresponsible, and dangerous.Say the truth and be professional for once in your miserable lives.
Last night, I wanted to fix the tyre, but it was almost Magrib time.
Quickly branched at a mosque by the road side, smelling like the solution to world hunger, but ended up shoulder to shoulder and led by guys who work very hard in filth.
The stench of their sweat was raw, and that of their clothes, but we embraced pretty closely, because we all are humans.
Nothing reminds you more of the vanity of life. No one says my grave would be finer than theirs or smell better.
Everyday, Iโm glad Islam reminds me of who I am: a dust, and one day to be returned to that.
My fellow Nigerians,
You will recall that I cancelled my trip to the G20 summit in South Africa to enable me coordinate the security efforts at home.
Thanks to the efforts of our security forces over the last few days, all the 38 worshippers abducted in Eruku, Kwara State have been rescued.
I am equally happy that 51 out of the missing students of the Catholic School in Niger State, have been recovered.
I am closely monitoring the security situation nationwide and receiving continuous updates from the frontline.
Let me be clear: I will not relent. Every Nigerian, in every state, has the right to safety โ and under my watch, we will secure this nation and protect our people.

One day, a brother reached out to me that her sister in UK is in abusive marriage that even as it stand, her husband threaten not to put her and their child on post study visa (their student was about to expire then).
This brother sound so concern and as someone who have a married sister, I was so concern too. I didnโt know what to do, and I donโt want to give wrong advice.
So I called @Abdul_Taj001 and @faisally01 and added the brother on the call, the brother narrated everything all over again for both TJ and Faisal, so Faisal suggest that we add the victim on the call to hear from her. Her brother added her and she talked as well, she was talking and crying, all of us were so concern and suggestions started flowing in, at the end, we concluded that since they have a child together and that child was born in the UK, she should go to social workers with the child that sheโll definitely get help and all. We follow the case and everything was going fine, something in me just said I should request to speak to the husband, then I asked her to give me her husbandโs number which she sent.
I called the man, greeted him and he responded calmly to my greetings, I said I was calling on behalf of his wife and I explained everything the wife said to him. He sighed, heavy sigh o and he asked if Iโve time to have a lengthy conversation and I said yes.
He started from how he struggled financially to bring her from Nigeria to the UK, they relocated on study visa. He sold everything he had, this lady didnโt drop a naira, in fact her nonchalant attitude made her missed flight, her excuse for missing the flight was because sheโs pregnant, so he had to book another flight for her (he arrived Uk first as per student). The lady arrived and started working full time, and she refused to support her husband who can only do 20hrs job and still has school fees to pay.
She has arrested the husband 3 times
After given birth, she stopped having sex with the husband (husband started having sex with someone else).
She stopped cooking and started eating out.
All of these started the moment she started earning.
For every allegation that husband laid against her, he back it up with chat screenshots, voice notes, pictures and police cases (she lied against him and arrested him 3 times)
At some point the police asked him to leave the house that heโs a threat to his wife and their child.
Everything the lady said to us that the husband was doing to her, husband counter everything with facts, the only thing he admitted was having sex with someone else.
After the police asked him to leave the house, he left and never looked back, reality down on her, she started struggling alone with her child, which now affected her work, she couldnโt work longer hours again and money no dey again. And even if she was able to work, most of her salary now goes to nanny who babysit the child for her. And to crown it all, the husband didnโt reach out to her at all which was something she didnโt expect.
She added one plus one together and concluded in her head that her husband might not want to put her on post study visa due to all that happened which was the reason she came to lie to us.
To the video here, no one know what happened between this one and her husband, but if not that women has become a threat to the husbandโs wellbeing and visa status, men in the UK hardly remove women from their visa, even if we are being factual, itโs women who are quick to report their husbands to home office and have them removed from visa. There are so many broken marriage in UK where husband is the main applicant on visa and the wife still remain dependent till now even though theyโre separated, but I canโt say the same for visa where wife is the main applicant.
My PhD analysis covered data up to December 2020.
Using ACLED data from 2020 to September 2025, the BBC found that out of 21,000 civilians killed during this period, 317 were Christians.
Those intent on promoting false narratives may choose to dismiss figures drawn from such reliable databases, but the data speak for themselves.
For my PhD thesis at SOAS University of London, I analysed all major civilian locations attacked by Boko Haram between May 2011 and December 2020. The analysis was based on data from the Nigerian Security Tracker (NST), compiled by the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) in the United States. The data reveal that during this period, Boko Haram attacked 83 churches, resulting in 1,521 deaths, and 72 mosques, resulting in 2,017 deaths. The chart below, which forms part of my PhD thesis, presents the annual breakdown of these attacksโshowing both the number of churches and mosques targeted and the corresponding fatalities recorded each year.
I am not a 'moderate Muslim.' I am a Muslim. I can be sweet, accommodating, tough, difficult, or even extreme to you, depending on your level of understanding, hostility, and prejudices regarding Islam. Ultimately, I am a Muslim who upholds Islamic standards, and I won't compromise them to fit your definition of 'moderate'.
