@POTUSZuckerberg @FanaticsSupport They say there are none in stock and none expected in the near future. ๐ They offered a refund if we return the current jersey. But then we still have no jersey.
Super excited to go home and cover the state track meet on Friday and Saturday in Columbus
I wrote a feature on the Donaldson/Lauck/Rall track family legacy at Riverdale that will publish tomorrow and @LonnieLMcMillan wrote 2 state preview stories on the Falcons
COACHES: Treat your athletes with respect, dignity, and empathy even when they do not return the favor, or they act immature, or they cost you a win. Be the adult. Be the positive leader. Be the example. Be one of the reasons they become a good adult one day.
COACHES: We must remember we're the adult in our program. We are the one that should know how to act, behave, communicate, and deal with adversity. Yes, our athletes "should" do many things, but we are the mature one in the relationship. We show the way. We set the example.
COACHES: Be careful trying to make your athletes so tough that you mess with their minds. It is not necessary to break an athlete down to make them mentally tough. Mental toughness is a process. It's a journey and we don't need to take short cuts. Be patient!!
Competing tomorrow for the Falcons in Regional Finals:
Brayden Courtney- 300 M Hurdles @ Chillicothe SE
Auhdra Myers- Long Jump @ Port Clinton Regional 5:00pm
Girls 4x200 m relay- Rall, Roach, Myers, Tackett @ Port Clinton
Girls 4x100 m relay- Rall, Roach, Myers, Tackett
Being a better coach means consistently asking for feedback from your athletes. Although you probably understand training better than they do, remember that they understand their bodies better than you do & different bodies respond differently to different workouts. Be flexible.
