Pick a challenge too big for who you are now.
That's how people change. A challenge above your level drags the new version of you out.
It will suck. You'll fail constantly. You'll feel like a fraud for months. Your old self will beg you to stay the same.
But if you can pull this off, 10-20 times throughout your life, you will blow past everyone else.
i built a skill to un-slop AI-looking apps
most AI-generated UIs still have the same problem:
they look polished, but they also look obviously AI-made
same cards
same gradients
same generic “modern app” layout
same zero-personality design
so this skill forces claude to actually think differently than it would normally do
→ starts from a real visual concept
→ explores 3 different directions
→ picks one coherent design language
→ renders the screens at iPhone size
→ scans the result for obvious AI-slop patterns
→ critiques and refines it before you ship
when everyone is shipping ai slop apps, yours has to be different to succeed
i’m giving the full skill away for free
rt + comment “stop slop” and i’ll send it over
(follow so i can dm)
Google is changing Gemini model access starting Oct 9:

• AI Pro & Ultra → retain access to Pro models
Fair questions. Everything radically new like Temple comes with a lot of wtfs. Answers to your questions –
1. Yes, with single use Grips (aka tapes). Price includes unlimited supply of Grips. Not weird – you don't even feel you are wearing Temple. Inventing the right Grips was as hard as making the device. We have now gotten them right for 99% of our audience.
2,3. Super sticky – can run, jump, sauna, swim, shower with it. Everything except scuba dive (but that's a device issue, not a tape issue). Doesn't move. Doesn't itch.
4. You can remove Temple, but not reuse a Grip. Always use a fresh Grip.
5. Not at all. It has very smooth edges and everything just slides over. People sometimes use a single Grip for around 7 days (battery life of the device). We recommend changing the Grip every 2/3 days though. Everything that you need to do, can happen with Temple on you – facewash, shower, skincare, make up (if you are into it).
6. Haven't heard this so far. Maybe our medical grade grips are so good and they keep your skin so nice and supple that it never itches :)
Bonus: Our customers say that Temple is the MOST comfortable wearable they have ever used. But let me warn you – it takes about 5 minutes of getting used to.
I've done a complete U-turn on my opinion on open source AI. We should be careful (and probably disallow release) of models on par with current open source Astra/Opus level models.
AI is now reverse engineering games from binaries and remaking them. Reverse engineering games is a very hard problem. If this is possible then reverse engineering banking software, ID systems (Aadhaar), flights, etc is possible too. A game ships its binary to every player. Bank and Aadhaar backends are protected by servers, but it's unlikely the security teams at these are smarter than advanced AI that can do this to games.
We are protected rn because a Claude will refuse to tick "I'm not a robot" on websites. When OSS models don't respect that, we have a looming cybersecurity problem. Apologies I didn't see this earlier.
Introducing GLiDE, a thinking decision model built for reasoning-intensive decisions.
Using the official Decision Index 0.2.1 scorer, GLiDE scores 64.81, leading Jev by 6.90 skill points and outperforming it across all five evaluation areas, including an 11.5-point lead in Knowledge and Reasoning.
Typically, decision models are designed to score a set of options in one pass. GLiDE takes that process a step further by recognizing when a decision requires more effort.
After producing an initial answer, GLiDE quickly assesses its confidence. When the result is uncertain, the model automatically allocates more compute to thinking further and incorporates that reasoning into its final probabilities.
This allows GLiDE to move beyond straightforward classification into complex, multi-step decisions like selecting from hundreds of tools, choosing the best next action from hundreds of possible paths, or judging and verifying reasoning-intensive model outputs.
With every decision, it returns:
• The selected action
• A corresponding confidence score
• A probability distribution across the available options
GLiDE is available today for inference and training on the Fastino API.

Mustafa Suleyman's whole piece criticizing Anthropic, and the way it's imbuing Claude with some sense of self-hood is really worth reading IMO https://t.co/6Q8Trvm1ya
Introducing 3 new models: MAI-Transcribe-2-Streaming, MAI-Voice-2.1 and MAI-Voice-2.1-Flash.
Accurate streaming transcription. Natural speech and less waiting between turns.
Build voice agents that keep the conversation moving!
We’re open sourcing a state of the art multimodal Decision Model, pplx-decider-27b, and are offering it in a new Decisions API at 4 cents per million input tokens and free output tokens. We intend to bring down the price even further over the coming days. Enjoy!
Gen Z is marrying later than any generation on record. They still want families, but they watched a whole generation stay in the wrong ones. So their delaying marriage isn't fear of commitment. It's commitment to getting it right.
a 1M-token window ≈ 750K words of text, while a typical Android MVP codebase is only ~50K–100K tokens, so it fits many times over.
@Google Gemini 4 Argon.
Introducing Comma.
For forty years, we have worked for our software. We learned its menus, gave it our time, and stayed at the keyboard until the work was done. Comma exists to turn that around.
No group chats. No crowd of assistants to babysit. Just Comma. Tell it what matters, and it carries the work through, across every device, until it's done.
Open source. Now live on macOS and the web, with more platforms coming soon.
