Men are sad overall. You only get to know this when you actually spend time with them.

Sadly, some women don’t realise this before getting into a relationship and assume the man is unhappy because of the relationship or because of her.

Look around you. Time is running out, but somehow only for men.

You have to do well in studies, build a career, make money, take care of ageing parents, keep everyone happy and somehow figure everything out.

I remember a girl in my college who barely studied. Her parents eventually got her married and she moved to Canada.

Meanwhile, some of the guys who spent years studying are struggling to even afford a Goa trip in this economy.

It made me think about something else.

A few years ago, our extended family had a train at 5 AM. The men went to sleep early after finishing the packing because they had to wake up early, arrange transport to and from the station, track the train, make sure everyone reached on time and load all the luggage.

Meanwhile, the women were awake till 2 AM packing every little thing. 😂

And a few days later it hit me.

They weren’t worried about missing the train because they knew someone would make sure they didn’t.

They weren’t worried about how heavy the luggage would get because they knew someone would carry it.

Someone was always calculating everything in the background.

Men do this all the time. Most of the time nobody even notices.

And sometimes when a man expects the same kind of care from his partner, all he gets is:

“You’ve lost interest in me.”

Maybe he hasn’t.

Maybe he was always like that and you are just noticing it now.
