@dthrowdair@dog_muppet@VaxxedSax His trade market is small because the new CBA is far more restrictive and very few teams are willing to roll the dice on an aging player while mortgaging their entire future
@TimfamousTTV@wano352@jakeson124 I’m all for swinging for the fences but given the new CBA and lack of draft capital, the deck is stacked against the wolves…I’d rather try to ship Julius, DDV and a 1st for Kyrie and then see what you could get for Rudy
@dog_muppet@VaxxedSax For being arguably a top 5 talent, Giannis’s trade market is quite small. Toss in his age, injury history and you have a very muddy picture of what you *could* get from him
New CBA isn’t set up to mortgage the farm for one player, hard pass on this deal for me
@wano352@jakeson124 Ayo
Ant
Julius
Giannis
Rudy
Joan, Clark and ??? for our bench. You’ve lost your damn mind if you think this deal makes a modicum of sense, not only for next year but for the next 3-5 years
@EconDevCityPlan@_MNMuse Dean, you’ve never told on yourself more than these last 2 posts. If Ant was healthy and DDV didn’t blow out his Achilles, yall would be licking your wounds and STILL would be talking about this shit. Go touch some grass
@EconDevCityPlan@_MNMuse Since when did a post whistle, elbow into someone’s face, become a common basketball move? Yall Spurs fans are a special kind of stupid
@Croonchh@REichten A new voice at the HC position
Get what you can for Randle and Rudy
Decide if Naz is your long term 4
Resign Ayo
Find a true 2nd play making option to pair with Ant, ideally a guard
Try to recoup some future draft capital
Gear up for the move to the East in 2 years
@Croonchh@REichten ‘22: really bad
‘23: bad
‘24: Phx sure, Denver good, Dallas really bad
‘25: LA good, GS bad, OKC really bad
‘26: Denver good, SA really really really bad
Since ‘24, wolves have had a top 5-7 (on paper) roster + a top 10 player
This isn’t a one game overreaction
@Croonchh@REichten Last game? This wolves starting 5 lapped the NBA in minutes played by like 240 more than the next best.
Incredibly healthy and yet, it was stumble after stumble
Finch was not awesome— nor has he been, in most of his playoff tenure
@TheAdamLesar @Coach_Eporter So coaching your *alleged* 2nd best player soft because you don’t want them to sulk is…quite damning.
He’s raised the floor of this team but he’s done nothing to show he’s capable of elevating them into a championship caliber contending team
@TheAdamLesar @Coach_Eporter You don’t think it has anything to do with his infatuation with Julius Randle? Or his inability to mix up defensive coverages? Or the fact that this is 3rd straight playoffs in which the team that eliminated them did the same thing over and over and over again?
My patience with Finch is growing thin. We mortgaged our future for Rudy, who has elevated the defense (then again it's the regular season) but this offense is a disaster.
The two big lineup is not going to work in the modern era. Why do we need to see this through to the end?
@JohnCastil67495 You are the one who said the narrative is the Spurs got lucky, what the fuck are you talking about?
I’m also not talking about the Spurs fans who watched the golden years, which is why I specifically said “new age Spurs fans”
@JohnCastil67495@jtakuz When did I mention luck for how the Spurs built their roster? The original post was a new age Spurs fan whining about the physicality
Now tell me John, are you dumb, stupid or dumb?
