@Stripesmut Their total revenue is $1.1 million. Total expenses $1.3. This is all they can afford. Likely not a lot of pressure or expectations going on over there.
@NOHIOGOLF It doesn’t matter what kind of tee you use, but it belongs in your pocket, your golf bag or the trash can. Broken tees are trash. Throwing them in the rough is littering. Tees are like any other disposable thing we use, cans, wrappers, cups, bags. They all belong in the trash.
@SandbaggerOG @mdvessely I recently had to crack through 10inch clay to remove tree roots. 4 separate clogs. Maybe 18 feet of pipe. I paid $328 per 10ft stick of 10” sdr. If I wanted to replace the hole line it would have cost almost 20k in pipe alone.
Recent heavy rains have superintendents in many areas playing catch-up. Just because the rain has stopped doesn't mean conditions will immediately return to normal. It will take some time for courses to dry out and for routine maintenance to resume.
@EvaHehemann@AnJrew_Sucks@FinnPrescott @fucctweeting @ThreeDog4746@BatmanXL777 @jason81_tx @GovAbbott https://t.co/cbJobyiyEy It’s actually more like 6%. 94% of covid deaths have at least 1 comorbidity involved. Golf carts can cause serious damage to the course if they are not used properly. Driving with care, following cart rules, and using a little common sense will reduce the negative impacts of cart traffic.
Beyond the immediate issue of playability, washed-out bunkers can provide months of headaches for golf course operators.
Here are some sustainable ways to tackle this issue.
@drewharvie 150+ years old. Tillinghast, a man who wrote extensively about trees in course design,
where they belong and where they don’t. He builds a green complex incorporating a tree on his most notable golf course. In 97 years of WF. Maybe 10 idiots have suggested removal of the Elm.
@iTweetTurf@SamsungTV@SamsungSupport I got a x950 series Sony recently in 65” and I think it’s incredible. Sound bar is a must though, the speakers don’t cut it when the picture is that good.
@CrockerPark Being a resident of CP and not being able to get home. Not notifying residents via text or email that they won’t be able to get home is even more annoying.
