@williamsba@harvest Not vibed but we basically did the same thing, bill was getting crazy for not really great features, @BFisch22 moved all reporting and budgeting so it's in ClickUp and a WordPress based portal.
@mattmedeiros I made this recently. https://t.co/CSCRKokx59 I haven't really pushed it out there/marketed yet, so "Breaking News"? Plugin on https://t.co/vKEaRcbGGt coming soon
As a paying customer, @SEMRush is kinda garbage huh? I can see why @Adobe bought it. Team has been using it for a few years, first time I logged in since purchasing it for them and it's basically upsell after upsell. It completely falls in line with their other offerings
@NoahKahan Pitchfork giving you a low score is a badge of honor. Feel good about it. As an example, even if you aren't a fan of @Tool this about sums it up
@DerekAshauer@ConversionWP@linchpin_agency I would probably end up with cover up on top of cover up until I just looked like the Davey Havok from AFI where my arms would be almost completely black. Though it does look sick
It's that time of year again where some random new "Rep" that the team has never spoken to from @wpengine cold emails because they see "Elevated Usage" on an account an immediately tries to upsell to a larger account.
The WordPress community has a visibility-to-competence ratio problem. The loudest voices aren’t always building products of any real substance.
Posting frequency, podcast appearances, and conference stages don’t tell you how big the business actually is.
Some of the most visible people here run companies that aren’t nearly as successful as their personal brand suggests.
Building a real product, not a feature with a landing page, is harder and slower than building an audience. Post count is not a proxy for competence.
Worth keeping in mind when you’re deciding who to learn from.
@samdotb Anecdotally have you tried @conductor_build I use it more than CC directly, if you are using CC (and/or OAI) give it a shot as well if you don't want to CC directly
@Austen What does "writes better code" mean? With out proper prompts and direction ALL agents fail at simple abstraction & consistently create dupe code (non DRY). Volume !== Better, if that is what you mean, velocity I can not argue, it can write a lot fast. "Every" not yet, soon maybe
A danger I see in vibe coding for non hobby projects, is users saying "Make me this" and it "works" for them from very limited use, but they don't ask "how can I exploit or abuse this or that". They assume AI will "think" about or solve those things automatically & it does not
@dhh@MichaelDell@elonmusk Saving Twitter from censorship is hysterical considering how the platform can easily be shown to more biased than ever before, engagement is down across all users even paid, bots still prevalent. Hemorrhaging so much money he had to sell it twice to hide it and his debt
You realize how much @WordPress has helps devs create products including SAAS when you understand how much of burden is taken away when you develop something outside of it. Auth, User mgmt, content types, organization, etc. Just things you take for granted that you have to build
