A health ring that can’t reliably track heart rate + 1 month of circular support responses = zero confidence. Repeated “team is working on it” with no resolution. Disappointing experience with @gabitlife. Buyers should be cautious.
Regarding the order of the Supreme Court about stray dogs in Delhi
I have written to the Hon'ble Chief Justice of India this morning with an appeal:
(a) For a stay on the directions passed by the SC yesterday regarding stray dogs in Delhi and
(b) For the review of the order by a larger Bench.
The issue of management of stray dogs as well as safety of people is definitely a matter of concern. However, it is not something that can be resolved by arbitrary orders passed by the judiciary without any larger consultative process. Also, subjecting defenseless animals to wanton cruelty can never be a solution.
We have sufficient laws in the country to deal with the issue of stray dogs and their sterilization as well as population control. And I agree that it is a very important issue where the welfare and safety of common people is concerned.
However, the failure of municipal authorities to implement these laws and do their job cannot and should not become a reason for the judiciary to impose cruel and inhumane directions.

Coffee consumption is associated with lower risk of depression
Coffee is the most popular hot beverage across the world. There are several reasons why people like coffee- the commonest being an increase in energy levels and alertness after having a cup of coffee.
Coffee consumption is associated with a host of health-related benefits, including lower risk of progression from prediabetes to diabetes, lower risk of diabetes, hypertension, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, atrial fibrillation, migraine, and certain cancers. Coffee intake is also associated with longevity.
In a study, coffee consumption was associated with a lower risk of depression. Data regarding coffee consumption and depression were obtained in >50,000 US women over 10-year follow up period.
Compared with women consuming 1 or less cup of caffeinated coffee per week, the risk of depression was 15% lower for those consuming 2 to 3 cups per day and 20% lower for those consuming 4 cups per day or more.
Future directions
1. This study looked at only the association and hence cause and effect can not be proved,
2. Further randomized controlled trials are needed to confirm if coffee consumption can reduce the risk of depression.
