Pakistan and the #UAE share a long-standing, time-tested relationship built on trust, mutual respect, and consistent support.
The UAE has always stood by Pakistan in times of difficulty; extending a $2 billion deposit to Pakistani accounts to stabilise Pakistan financial position.
At the same time, hundreds of thousands of Pakistanis working across various sectors in the UAE continue to contribute significantly to both economies while supporting their families back home.
As Pakistan is now returning the 2 billions dollars (placed in safe deposits) with lots of thanks and appreciation for the UAE government and its people, whose assistance has been both timely and meaningful.
