Me: Im sure you’ve heard about this trend but do you think about the Roman Empire?
Justin: I have heard about it. Honestly I think about it like once a month, but the real question is how often do you think about the Galactic Empire?
Justin: I think about that at least once a day

Here are some things that are a part of an abolitionist process:
1) defunding police & other non-reformist reforms
2) communities developing new modes of non-carceral/non-punitive justice (transformative justice, etc)
3) developing new ways to prevent harm in community
I am not an expert on abolition. I'm a student of abolitionism. But I can tell you this. As someone who has studied it pretty intensively for about 5 years now: a lot of these people who are using the word abolition right now, do not even know what it means.
Turns out that our lunch and car movie was more than just “lunch and a movie”. He popped the question and took me to Trice to pick what ring I wanted 🥰 can’t wait to spend my life with you, Justin! @Need4LSpeed@StellaArtois#weddingcontest
Remarkable scene at 12th and Grant, where two healthcare workers from a Denver-area hospital — they declined to say which or give their names — are standing in the crosswalk during red lights as a “reminder,” they say, of why shutdown measures are in place.
when you realize the coronavirus stimulus bill completely throws college aged kids under the bus because their parents still claim them as dependents so they can’t get $1200 but they’re over the age of 16 so their parents don’t get $500 for them
If I have to give up my senior season of college baseball for someone to get to spend 10+ more years with their grandparents or a baby gets to live a full happy life, then take it away. It’s not about you
This is a moral dilemma that no person should have to face. No healthcare workers wants to decide who will live and who they just can’t help. So please social distance yourself. Please quarantine. Stop the spread. (2/2)
We social distance/quarantine bc if COVID-19 keeps spreading at this rate hospitals won’t have enough supplies and support to help everyone. This will cause healthcare workers to have to choose which people they care for based off supplies needed and chances of survival. (1/2)
Currently the US is following Italy’s trend so in the next few weeks we could have 10,000 cases of COVID-19. Please take this social distancing seriously!!! It’s not a joke. There are vulnerable people who could suffer greatly from getting this disease!!!
